The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. This was a family trip and unfortunately my father got ill (stomach bug). The staff were so helpful and accommodating to his needs. This place is perfect for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We even got some coconuts cut for us. I recommend this place for those who want peace and quiet. The beach was empty when we went which was perfect for us. The food was 10/10. Breakfast típico with fresh juice every morning. We even got to feed the monkeys. They were very friendly. We purchased their lunch and dinner as well. 10/10. Overall, despite my father being sick, this was still a memorable experience. All thanks to the staff! Also, the closest market is about a 15 min drive. I recommend taking waters or any other snacks, fruits. There is a fridge big enough to fit beverages and food. They have an outdoor grill as well if you take food to cook. (The staff offered to cook it for us but we didn’t take any food). We will definitely return again!

The tranquil atmosphere of the resort was wonderful. Quiet. Relaxing. Loved the deck we had with the table and chairs to sit back and read, relax or watch the view. The pool was a good size for actual swimming and deep. The room was so-so. No frills there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good, just enough to hit the spot. It would have been nice to have snacks and drinks available to purchase in case we needed something. No TV but we don't watch it anyway.

This is the perfect tranquil place to relax and enjoy both Costa Rican nature and the beauty of the beach and pacific ocean. The atomosphere is quiet, the staff is kind and accommodating, the property grounds are maintained well, the rooms are comfortable. Access to pool and food is convenient. I love the hammocks everywhere to lounge in. The location is close enough to Quepos and Jaco for a day trip to check out the touristy areas but remote enough to get away. This is our second stay here and we recommend it to others and will be back again.

A young man named Xavier was exceptional. The facilities were passable. The pool was not usable for the first two days of our stay. Children were swimming in it the 3rd day - but not me or my family. The yellow and green algae that greeted us on the first day were too fresh in our memories. The room above me on the first night had a noisy, creaky wood floor. Woke up 6 times. The grounds and beach were beautiful.

Remote and not good value for money

Compared to other comparably priced hotels this was below par on accommodation, cleanliness and service. The hotel is remote with the nearest soda being about 30 min drive away due to the road condition. Which means you’ve got to eat at the hotel restaurant (it took over an hour to receive our order) and pay $4 a beer. Sea is not suitable for swimming.

Very beautiful, private scenery. Had the beach to ourselves many times. Very spacious rooms and outdoor kitchen. Staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There were a lot of ants on counters and in shower and it would have been great to have shampoo, conditioner, and soap for the dishes. Dinner options are expensive and not very good. Pool was great. The surroundings are the best part about this property, but it's a bit of a drive. Well worth it.

Great Beach Front Hotel

This place is so pretty and right on the beach. The pool is nice and the garden area great to sit and have coffee or drinks. The staff are super friendly too! The cherry on top is that they are pet friendly. Our dog had a great time.

Buena experiencia para descansar

El Hotel buena relación precio beneficio, muy tranquilo y limpio, las piscinas limpias, la playa apta para los niños, la comida del restaurante muy buena y económica. Lo desfavorable la presencia de perros sin dueño que al momento de las comidas están siempre presentes. Tener en cuenta que queda muy retirado de cualquier comercio y a 15 minutos de camino en lastre.

Tranquilidad’s name delivers it best traits. If you are interested in a beautiful and secluded location that offers pristine and quiet but incredibly beautiful breathtaking and amazing beaches, this is location to consider. However, with this seclusion you will have to accept that a variety of dining options and high end dining will not be a realistic option. Although what they do offer is decent food at very reasonable cost. There was a nice restaurant on the same road about 3 miles away that offered great cocktails and very good food. Tranquilidad is very laid back and I thoroughly enjoyed my four days and nights once I settled into the vibe! I would go back, but next time with a partner to share the natural beauty, the pre dawn morning sunrises and the gorgeous sunsets!

In unserem Zimmer war es sehr staubig und schmutzig. Toilettenpapier und Handtücher gab es nur auf Nachfrage und sehr widerwillig. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war ebenfalls nicht zufriedenstellend. Die gesamte Anlage ist voller streunender Hunde, die dort ihr Geschäft verrichten, das niemand weg macht.

This place is a great getaway to go to if you want to relax and be away from touristy areas. Service is great and pet friendly. It's right on the beach so you have miles of walking if you want. Sunsets are great. I will be back again.
