“My partner and I spent a couple of nights to disconnect from the city and connect with each other. It was an amazing space to breathe and be. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable and well thought out. As noted, the hot tub can take some time to heat, but well worth it! Meditation area in woods was wonderful & Trevor super responsive and friendly. One tip would just be to plan meals around a stovetop/woodfire stove if you want to avoid havng to leave the cabin....we certainly did……

“Communication with the host was spotty in the 9 months leading to our trip with some messages gone unanswered. Payment system was a mess but we were offered a discount for our troubles which was nice. The shower head in the primary bathroom was rusted, leaking and broken so we couldn't use it during our stay. Host came and offered to fix it, but wasn't a huge deal as there were 2 other showers and it would take a while to fix and dry out wall. The shower in the garage conversion is a raw……

“Owner was slow to answer emails (often 2-3 days) and often required multiple emails from request to rent, questions, and even while we were there. There were very minimal amenities (only 4 dining chairs for 5 BR house, very minimal cookware, only 5 towel sets for rental with 8 people.) Towel bar and toilet paper holder in upstairs hall bath fell off wall with normal use. Shoes were left in front coat closet upon our arrival.”

“Wonderful dock for boats, and we had great waterskiing at the north end of the lake. Incredibly responsive hosts. Home was beautiful and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole large group. Would stay there again!!!”

“We didn’t actually stay, the place was a little odd, and the guests I was with were a bit uncomfortable. There were a lot of spider eggs under the furniture and my mother saw numerous bugs. The padlock the get inside was either broken or dead so we were instructed to go through the other entrance of the house which was another rental, but they kept a spare key to our unit (the basement) in the upstairs rental which kind of scared some of us. Overall, the basement itself was spacious and cute……
