Great stay

We loved staying here! Was a little bit confused about whether to communicate through VRBO or Vacasa but got that quickly cleared up and had a great time. Would stay here again!

Great View and Location but Fees Exorbitant

Excellent property for a family stay in S.W Paso. 3 nice bedrooms great view, location and kitchen. Just be prepared to be gaffed by the VRBO and VACASA fees.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view!

We loved this little country house on a hill. Situated within minutes of town, but on a private road overlooking the valley. This was an ideal spot to rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy our time together. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Weekend getaway

The property was absolutely beautiful very clean very up-to-date. We had a wonderful time coming from Orange County up to get away for the weekend visited wineries had a wonderful dinner. The place we stayed at was perfect. I will stay there in the future wonderful neighbors. Felt very safe, very comfortable very peaceful.

Second stay and there will be more

This was our second stay at Downtown Derby and it will not be the last. It is a great location on the hill with great views and a 20 min walk to downtown, when not raining. The house is always clean and ready for our stay. The hot tub works great and is a welcome opportunity to relax each evening. The road up to the house, which previously needed some work, has been repaired and repaved.

Great location, great views

It was a lovely place with a great view. Very comfortable with an open floor plan, very modern kitchen. We had a minor plumbing issue come up during our stay which is why this is not a 5-star review. However Vacasa got a plumber out on a Saturday and it was fixed when we got back in the mid afternoon. Other than this, zero issues.

We rented this property expressly for the view from the backyard patio and the ability to sit outside and enjoy the outside and have a glass of wine. We were unable to due to a large dog that stood by the patio door. My wife is afraid of large dogs especially stray dogs we don’t know. This basically ruined our stay and we respectfully ask for a partial refund. Please Respond

Fantastic Stay in Paso Robles

This house is the perfect place to spend a few days in wine country. Perched up on a hill overlooking downtown Paso, the views were incredible. The home feels lived in (in a good way) - not your typical rental home with just the basics. The hot tub in the backyard is the best way to end a day of wine tasting. We had no problem getting to and from the home, either. It's just a 5-minute drive in downtown Paso Robles, so the location is perfect. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Plenty of towels for a large group, too. We had a good time cooking in the kitchen - perhaps the only recommendation is to bring your own spices/oils if you plan on cooking a lot. We made a fire in the firepit in the front yard and enjoyed the view at night. The living room is extremely cozy and was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to some music. We would happily stay here again if we're making a trip back to Paso.

Great stay but didn’t know I was booking through Vacasa and charged extra

Everything was as expected from the reviews and description. The hot tub worked well and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen could have used a few more large bowls and there was no back up of tin foil or baggies. We forgot to bring any, but thought there might be some available. The only negative is that we thought we booked through VRBO, but on further review we were routed and booked through Vacasa. While it wouldn’t have been an issue, but we were charged excessively from both company’s.

Clean, well appointed home with great views!

I was worried because there were no reviews yet, but this home was great. It was clean and stocked with plenty of supplies (blankets, pillows, towels, toiletries, dishes, etc). You can use the Roku with your own media accounts, but there's no cable. The beds were comfortable, but it would have been nice to have a King in the Primary bedroom. The hot tub was easy to use and seemed to be functioning fine. The filters had some leaves stuck in them, but it seemed clean overall. My only complaint is that guests do not have access to use the fire pit. I think that should be removed from the advertised features of the listing if we aren't allowed to use it.
