“Our stay at Le Ruone was simply amazing. The location has an amazing view of the mountains and the ocean. It was a very homey feeling as the host, Laure, is very helpful with making reservations, serving breakfast (with homemade marmelad!) and recomending things to do and see. The rooms are clean and tidy. You have to stay here if you want to experience Corsica in the right way. Our only regret is not staying longer at Le Ruone.”

“Spent 3 nights in room "Stella bella". Rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable and stylish. Location is 5 minutes away by car from nice beaches in Ile Rousse. Please note that there is only 1 aircon unit in the room, hence need to leave door open to cool down. There is also only 1 toilet for the 2 bedrooms. Terrasse is great but is a bit noisy due to road proximity. Breakfast was simple, only hot drinks, baked goods and juice. ”

“Nice little house with only 3 rooms to rent situated at the end of a one way street, that's to say very quiet. Everything is very clean and well kept . Very good breakfast with homemade products friendly served . Friendly hosts. Atmosphere as with family or friends So you have to leave your shoes at the entrance and there is only one toilett without handwash and one bathroom for all guests. Spa in the garden is closed in summer because of water rationing .”

Breakfast prepared with care, delicious. Breathtaking view. Claire and Philippe, the owners, made our holiday truly……

“Pas de service, peu d’eau chaude, électroménager usé, matelas usé, très chaud dans l’appartement sans même un ventilateur. À plus de 150€ la nuit, c’est une anomalie. Dommage car l’appartement est spacieux et bien situé au cœur de la citadelle ”

He gave us superb tips for hiking and adapted to our diet needs for the very yummy and inviting breakfast. 1722 is located behind a old church in a beautiful, quiet, traditional stone village. We absolutely recommend it. For the rooms, it's better not stay on the ground floor, as it tends to be damp. But there's an air-con.”
