The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel has to have the best view of the river in the city. The outside veranda was the perfect spot for a welcoming beverage and the walking area around the peninsula was right nearby. Wonderful location and wunderbar staff and owner

Well run hotel with excellent staff and beautiful setting. Great breakfast as well. The town of Passau is a delight as is this hotel. We stayed when river flooding was a possibility and the staff did everything to make our stay comfortable.

Fantastic hotel

Loved the hotel location, very nice staff and a great breakfast. I felt the staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The outdoor patio has an incredible view of the river and people walking below. I highly recommend!

Wonderfully located at the edge of the peninsula where the 3 rivers meet. Very cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The room had a beautiful view of the river. Breakfast was delicious, top quality and great atmosphere. The staff were lovely and service was excellent. Perfect for couples.

We absolutely loved our stay at Schloss Ort hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The hotel has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location is truly breathtaking — waking up to a breakfast on the deck with the Donau River in the background was a highlight of our trip. The view was stunning and made our mornings so special. We give this hotel a full five stars and would love to stay here again. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Schloss Ort in Passau. The history of this property, dating back to the 13th century, combined with the comfort and charm of its accommodations, made it truly special. The owner and staff were exceptionally attentive and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely perfect—nestled right along the beautiful Inn River, offering peaceful and tranquil views. It was wonderful to simply sit and take in the scenery. On top of that, restaurants and shopping were just a short walk away, making it very convenient to explore Passau. This hotel is a gem, blending history, hospitality, and location seamlessly. We would highly recommend Hotel Schloss Ort to anyone visiting Passau.

Very beautiful hotel on a point of three rivers. Be sure to ask for a room with a view. Room was nice. Bedding nice. Breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent. Parking was tight but at least there was a place to park.

Quaint quiet hotel & neighborhood

This hotel was so cute and so quaint. The views of the river and the city were magnificent! The room was fresh, roomy, amd ultra clean! The owner and her staff were such beautiful people. There was no need not met! I cannot wait to come back here again!

A wonderful location at the confluence of the Inn and Danube rivers. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast outside (option) was a lovely way to start your day. Rooms were spacious with some great views. The management team has blended a modern internal look with an old castle feel. Highly recommended!

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Schloss Ort. Eva in reception was gracious and clear. We were truly stunned at the view of the river from our room and the room was beautifully and simply decorated ! The next day we had the opportunity to Meet our host owner and she was Mickey. There was a delicious breakfast avskdbke in the morning. Again, with a gorgeous view of the river . We were staying g the night before a Viking cruise, and could not have been more nicely situated

Great little find where the two rivers are!! Beautiful view out of my window!! This is an original castle transformed into a hotel. Only down side is internet wifi is super slow!! Super friendly staff. Perfect location to visit the old town!! Would definitely recommend!!

Location is quite convenient. Walkable all over the town. Staff very helpful and friendly. We arrived early and they let us in the room way before their check in time. That’s very nice! We were told we need to pay for the breakfast only at check out time. Their website advertises breakfast is included. I would prefer they inform me during check in time.

Amazing river views

Amazing river views. Breakfast was great. Took advantage of a great massage too. Parking is tough in the old city but that’s the price you pay!
