“Bon voyage”

“Helt fantastisk værtspar, der bød på kaffe og snak i køkkenet ved ankomst. Ved aftentid kom værten og spurgte om jeg ville se månenog det viste sig at hendes mand var astro fotograf, sikken en oplevelse, fik endda set jupiter med 3 af månerne. En oplevelse uden lige, som bare var en ekstra bonus. Værelset var en hel lejlighed restaureret perfekt i gammel stil. Morgenmaden overdådig og igen med hyggeligt selskab af værten og en god snak inden jeg kørte videre. Jeg vil helt sikkert komme igen hvis……

“This is a gem of a place and so close to the Sanctuaire. Celine, our hostess, was just so delightful… from the moment we checked in to our unplanned early morning departure (bad weather forced a train change requiring a very early morning departure). She arranged for a taxi and got up early to make sure we had breakfast. It’s obvious that she cares about her guests. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of homemade goodies on a beautifully set dining table. Our room (Aspin) was tastefully……

“Magnifique ferme rénovée avec piscine donnant sur les Pyrénées. Elle se trouve en pleine nature au bout d’un chemin éponyme, vous pouvez être sûr qu’il n’y aura pas de vis-a-vis. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Marina et Didier, sans oublier Léon le chien et le chat dont je n’ai pas le nom. Les petits déjeuners et la table d’hôte étaient tops : produits frais et recettes faits maison. Merci pour cet agréable séjour !”

“Germaine was so accommodating and helpful specially it is my first time in Lourdes. She took good care of me. It was such a short visit for me and I always arrived late at night with the activities in Lourdes. She managed my visit well. A few items for improvement, blankets during cold weather, and towels for bathing. Never had the time to ask for these as I left early and arrived late, but am sure it can be accommodated. All in all a nice visit to Lourdes with my thanks to the host.”
