“This property is two rooms next to a small hotel. There is no check-in desk, instead you are meant to fill in an online form and let them know your arrival time. We hadn't seen that instruction, and nobody answered when we phoned the number on the door at 8pm. Luckily a local was passing and was able to help contact the hotel and get us in.
Once we were in the room was nicely decorated with a good shower. Bed was two singles pushed together with a double sheet over and worked reasonably well as……
“The hotel is run by Lydia, who was extremely accommodating and welcoming to us all, including to our family dog. The hotel is a charming little hotel, in the countryside, run in a very personal way. It was in a strategic position too, when travelling across France, either to or from the Euro tunnel / Calais ferries.”
“As soon as the gate was opened we knew we had arrived at a special Chambre d'hote. The property was well maintained, welcoming hosts and very comfortable and ekegant rooms. We had a delightful evening meal with the hosts and another couple. We are on a cycle holiday and were thrilled to have our laundry done for us overnight. In the morning our bikes had even been turned to the direction we were going to travel.”
