"My family just returned from a 5 night stay in Les Sables DO. Frankly, we'd never heard of the place before. But it was a pleasant surprise. Probably a destination for French families more than international visitors. That was a nice change. The house was great. Clean, big back yard. A view from the dining table of the city/town. Only a short walk to a popular beach. Ocean temperatures just high enough to get in, if you are old like me. Not a problem for kids."

"Loved the decor and the spa - the proximity to the beach and the beautiful walk through the bush to the dunes - loved the cycling trail and the relaxed atmosphere of Sherwood The second bedroom was without a window which gave a claustrophobic feeling and I was glad I wasn’t sleeping in it"

"The host famy are very nice people and explained everything well. The house is light and welcoming. The outside area has a great pool and the garden is large with various seating options. We especially enjoyed eating outside at the large table. It is advertised as 9 people but realistically two beds were on the floor, so suits 7 perfectly. We very much appreciated the late check out due to no booking following us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"La maison de Céline est très bien située proche du centre du Pouliguen (marché, restos, plage, promenade...). La maison est bien équipée et la décoration soignée. Le patio est agréable. La place de parking est un plus appréciable en saison."

"Good things: swimming pool and hot tub, spacious for 12 of us. The lake at Coco plage is lovely. Not so good: no responses to my messages before our stay therefore confusion over bed linen. The property is not clean. There is grime everywhere. Needs a deep clean. Very small cooking area. Grass needed cutting. Very limited activities in the area. Spent too much time in super u because there was not much else to do. Towns and villages are deserted, shops closed and markets consist of about five...

"The house and garden are exceptionally beautiful. There's plenty of seating, making it ideal for a larger group. The beach is very close, and shopping is within easy reach. Anita and Gilles are excellent hosts, extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, a perfect place for a summer vacation!"
