“We spent a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at Girou. The house is beautifully renovated and maintained and is extremely well equipped - it has everything we could have wanted and more! We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenage girls) but the house is very well set up for more guests. The pool was perfect for our sun worshippers! The house is ideally situated with so much to see and do nearby although we spent most of our time just relaxing at Girou. Highlights were the morning markets at Nerac……

“Awesome property with wonderful views on the countryside from the shadowed terrasse where we spent most of our time, as well as in the marvelous, clean saltwater pool. Amazing hosts that made sure that we missed nothing and went out of their way to help organize speedy repair of car breakdown, and provided us with many useful tips for excursions, restaurants, events. Great base to discover "la Dordogne" with its vineyards, castles, old churches,"bastides" and caves (Lascaux). Hopefully we can……

“L’accueil a été effectué par le propriétaire.Superbe maison en pierre joliment restaurée. Elle est très fonctionnelle, spacieuse et bien équipée.L’environnement est très calme et verdoyant.Les extérieurs de la maison sont soignés. La piscine est complètement privée. “Deciding to take a break from our van travel through France, we found this wonderful Gîte with exactly what we needed to recharge from our travels. Le Grand Chene is set in beautiful tranquil grounds, surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields. Emmanuel and James were lovely, welcoming and shared their local knowledge which only enhanced our visit. They made us feel really welcome without being intrusive. We fell in love with the gorgeous peaceful setting, large grounds and wonderful walks,……

“Visited this beautiful property early June. All furnishings of a high standard and very clean. Jules maintained the pool every day. The gardens are stunning and its on a nice quiet road if you want to get away from a busy town. Lots to do in the area, most within a 15 minute drive. Kim gave us some of her delicious homemade jam to add to a welcome basket of croissants and wine. We are hoping to get back and stay again. Recommend restaurants in Eymet, the Chateau at Duras, with coffee shops and……
