"We visited St Helaire as a first family car trip to France. The travel days were a little stressful but ran so smoothly thanks to French roads being so much easier to drive along than British roads. The apartment was perfect, the views stunning especially at sunset. The sea breeze was cool and refreshing.we don't mind walking but thought that we were a little too far from things to want to walk everywhere. This is the only thing we could find that wasn't perfect and does not mean you can't walk...

Susy and Michel were such lovely hosts and really helpful if you wanted any ideas on where to go etc. The gite is spotless and has everything you would need and the garden is beautiful. Sofia our dog really enjoyed it. Its a very beautiful area with fantastic beaches."

"The property was well placed and ideally suited to our needs. Unfortunately when sitting outside at the front there was a strong smell of sewage from the drains, we could only use the back area to sit out in, which was the parking area. The accommodation was not very clean and was cluttered with owner’s belongings. We slept on the bed settee due to small double bed in bedroom (my husband is a tall man).
