“Without a doubt the best house we have stayed in.. ever! We booked it on a bit of a whim but it was such an incredibly relaxing and resourceful break. The house is so peaceful and has everything you need to relax but also entertain a full family (ours range from 4 to 50!) Grant has made this house so comfortable and easy to live in but it also retains such charm. Small details make a difference and the pool and outside area are superb. The owner living next door makes SUCH a difference. He was……

“We were very much looking forward to our stay at orangerie Dezie Manor, given the beautiful pictures. Even then, it was beyond expectations. An accommodation with a lot of space and comfort, a fantastic view, a private swimming pool, a great BBQ and much more. We left the house as little as possible. And Grant is a great host. The only thing he could not provide was the mare giving birth before we left. But we hope to be back! Highly recommended.”

“The property was very spacious and impressive and we enjoyed our stay. The garden and pool area has a calm ambience and is spacious with multiple separate areas providing space for different activities. We enjoyed the pool and terrace. The location is in a quiet part of the town and 20 to 30 minutes walk to centre of a fairly big town but lots of parking in town if you choose to drive. The many valley of D’ordogne attractions near Sarlat are an hour to hour and a half drive away, with Brantôme……

“We spent an amazing 2 weeks here, the property had everything you could think of to keep a family entertained, the attention to detail is a credit to all. The property was fully equipped with everything you could need. We’ve stayed at many properties and this surpassed all others.The local town was lovely and the walk into it is down a slight hill so if you have mobility issues this might hinder you slightly. La Douze had a lovely bakery and restaurants. Lots of places to visit in the……

“Tout d’abord Simon et Sinead sont des super hôtes qui se mettent en quatre pour que nous puissions profiter de la villa. Ils sont très accommodants et réagissent super vite aux messages. L'endroit est très calme et magnifique, nous avons vu des couchers de soleil exceptionnels. La maison avec ses 4 chambres, ses deux salles d’eau et sa salle de bain est confortable quoique le mobilier soit un peu daté. La literie est vraiment bonne. “Uitgebreide keuken met alle spullen voor groot gezelschap. 5 nette slaapkamers met eigen badkamer. Fantastische gemeenschappelijke ruimte prachtige tuin met heerlijk verwarmd zwembad. Zeer gastvrije en attente gastvrouw. Kok is een keer komen koken ook zeer aan te bevelen. Mooie BBQ. Kortom alleen pluspunten die zullen verrassen”
