Romantic Chalet in the Forest
- Our Chalet offers a large loft Bedroom with a queen bed. Beautiful views of the Mogollon Rim from the bed, and of the National Forest to the back. Downstairs bedroom has full bed. In the living room you will find a wonderful wood burning stove. The living room has incredible views from the cathedral like windows. Kitchen has everything except your food. Outdoor deck is very private with tall pine trees providing lovely shade. Our cabin is located at the very back of the lot right up to the National Forest. It is in a very private setting. If you are looking for a cozy couples retreat, we think you've found it! Note, the Century Link Internet out in the forest is spotty at times. Please don't expect it to work well, and after all it's not why we are up there!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and took the time to answer all of my questions, always getting back to me quickly. He was very accommodating, especially with the current weather situation, which we really appreciated. The house itself was beautiful and in a perfect location for a romantic getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and definitely look forward to staying here again.

Super cute cabin and very easy to get into. Close to hiking trails - about 30 mins north of central Payson. Quiet and secluded. Loved the patio and surrounding forest views. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Heating and hot water was available for cooler evenings.

LOVED this property and amenities. Such a great getaway from the Valley and the heat. Lots of hiking to do just in the neighborhood. The hosts were extremely responsive and we had no issues at all. We for sure will be back when we want to escape the valley.

Beautiful and cozy
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin in the woods. The scenery from the big front windows is beautiful. And it is minutes from Washington Park if youre looking to do some hiking.

The solitude and peace was exactly what we were looking for. Especially for our anniversary. Which is exactly what we received.
