「Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge.
Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. 」

「We stayed in a room that is more spacious than average ones. Clean and tidy.
Staff are very polite and hospitable. Buffet style English breakfast is served, and quite tasty. The kitchen even takes simple orders to suit your needs.
Guests can also use the pool and gym for free, which is rare for many hotels.
Lots of parking spaces.
The only concern is that the room has no air conditioning. During a summer day it could be rather hot and stuffy.」
