Nice accommodation

The accommodation was very good. We stayed for 2 weeks. The pool was very good and was cleaned weekly. My only complaint is the lack of clean bedding even though I requested it. Also, I reported a fault with the air con one of the bedrooms but nothing was done about it.

The villa is very spacious. The grounds are big and the pool a perfect size for a family. The pool maintenance guys were nice and did a very good job. The villa does need some money spent on it. The main bed is very uncomfortable and makes a lot of noise with every movement. Not helpful in a strange house. The second bathroom always had a strange smell. Plus the toilet was very stained. The downstairs toilet wasn't attached to the floor very well and moved when sat on.We have kids and you must be cautious that any crumbs left on the floors you will return to an army of ants. There was broken sunbeds layed down the side of the property and where the washing line was had become a dumping ground for unwanted bits of furniture. Brokwn garden lights and tables etcThe villa lacked any shading around the pool area apart from a small parsol that covered two sunbeds if you was lucky. The villa is close to coral Bay. All shops and restaurants are only a ten minute drive and a supermarket down the road. All very helpful. The overall stay at the villa was lovely and gave us an amazing holiday. If i was to book again i would hope the villa has some money spent on it to make a stay more comfortable.

Nice villa, needs a lot of small repairs

The villa in general is really nice. The location is great. I would say our experience could have been better had someone checked over the property before we arrived. The issues •pool was half empty, resulting in filters not working and pool being dirty. •Master bed was broken, I had to sleep on sofa for 3 nights. •outside sunbeds was falling apart. •broken kettle •had a problem trying get get bbq equipment,, part of the management team told me there was none but a couple of days in I found the items so I was able to bbq. •paint coming of walls in areas of the property. All in all it was a nice time away with the family, but I feel some more attention to detail on the maintenance side of the property and this would get full 5 star from me. Would I stay again…. Probably not unless I knew they had put some efforts and funds in to the problems I stated.

Geräumiges Haus in zentraler Lage

Die Lage des Hauses war für uns gut. Die Bushaltestelle vor der Türe, 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand und 10 Minuten zur nächsten Taverne. Die Zimmer sind geräumig mit jeweils einem Badezimmer. Die Betten sind instabil (es fehlen Latten) und eine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer war defekt; jedoch wurde auf unsere Kritik sofort reagiert. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Vor der Anreise war leider kein Kontakt. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Alles in allem ein schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt in der Calypso Villa

Superbes vacances en famille ... mais des points à améliorer

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances en famille. La maison est spacieuse et joliment décorée. Le jardin est grand et agréable, avec une auvent bien pratique pour protéger la voiture du soleil et une grande terrasse très souvent à l'ombre. La piscine est géniale ! L'eau est hyper chaude, il y a des gonflables et la piscine est pratique avec une partie où on a pied et une autre où on n'a pas pied. La localisation est pratique puisqu'elle permet facilement de rayonner dans la région et qu'il y a de superbes criques à 4 minutes en voiture. De plus, l'endroit est calme (une route passe pas très loin mais franchement ce n'est pas gênant). 3 bémols toutefois : - il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle (on le savait en ce qui nous concerne mais je le précise si jamais c'est un point important pour certains) - il y a la climatisation dans toutes les pièces mais avec un timer impossible à déprogrammer. Même si nous n'étions pas au courant, je trouve ça très bien sur le principe. Néanmoins, cela a gêné certains d'entre nous pour dormir puisque la climatisation s'arrête automatiquement au bout de 2 heures ... - si la communication était fluide avant notre arrivée, elle a été plus compliquée une fois sur place. Nous avons eu pas mal de petits problèmes/petites demandes (une bouilloire cassée, une climatisation qui fuit, des ampoules à changer dans le jardin ...) et si tout a été au final réparé, nous avons dû les relancer pour que quelqu'un intervienne.
