「L’emplacement est idéal pour rayonner dans la région. Il ne faut pas se fier à l’environnement immédiat en arrivant, qui n’est pas très beau. La maison est belle, confortable, on s’y sent bien. La communication avec le propriétaire est fluide. Nous n’avons pas eu de chance pour le calme, avec des travaux qui démarraient juste à côté tous les jours à 7h du matin, 7 jours sur 7, et les chiens qui aboyaient toutes les nuits. 」

「We stayed at The Goatshed during the off season. Lots of rain ( even a "named" storm ) during our stay, and still it was absolutely magical. Everything we hoped it would be ! The villages in the area had lovely tavernas and incredible bakeries as well as grocery stores well stocked with everything you need. I spent a morning sipping coffee and listening to a Greek Orthodox memorial service being chanted nearby, another morning we watched the neighbors harvesting olive trees. The Goatshed itself...

「Plus: Wonderful terraces overlooking Kalamata. Negative: This is a stone house and can be quite cold. We successfully heated the living room area, but could not heat the lower bedroom. Also the house is a long way up a winding road and somewhat out of town.」
