"This place is so remote and peaceful! The bungalow we had had an outdoor shower and bathroom and it was a little bit hard to get adjusted to the nature sounds at night time! If you want to remove yourself from civilization and be the one with oneself and nature, this is the place. I liked that they did not have Tv in the room or internet Wi-Fi (only at the restaurant). "We honestly were not really happy with our stay. To begin with the shower has a lot of loose rocks and because of them it was full of hairs. the floor of the room was really dirty and the sheets had some stains. You can only get food at the restaurant by texting them, and the restaurant closes at 7 which is not great because there are not any others around. You can’t spontaneously go to the restaurant, you need to say what you want and at what time. We informed them what we wanted and arrived at...

"The rambutan has got to be the nicest, well located hotel in Lovina. Grounds are beautiful, pools gorgeous. Lovely spot for breakfast by the pool. Staff are super aware of their guests. The owners are lovely and make sure everything runs perfectly. Close to the beach, and warungs nearby. And fantastic value for money.
Would recommend the rambutan every day of the week."

"Always an amazing experience at this hotel. Spacious rooms, extremely helpful staff. Great food. And of course the elephant experiences.
The hotel had to react to the government disallowing elephant rides, and they added several new experiences.
A few things such as the light switches, AC control etc. are a bit aged by now, but that doesn't take away from the overall top rating."
