What a great stay

Serenity place was the perfect location for a 30th birthday weekend celebration with friends. Conveniently located on the Seneca lake wine trail and with direct access to the lake, this home truly had it all.

My friends and I had a great stay here. Plenty of space, beautiful scenery, and no shortage of things to do. Access to the boat lift was helpful. Conveniently located between Penn Yann, Geneva, and Watkins Glen. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy the Finger Lakes.

Wonderful stay

We really loved this property. The view was outstanding and the house was fully stocked. Instructions for everything was super helpful. Centrally located and no lack of things to do. There were 8 of us and plenty of room for everyone. The openness of the kitchen/dining/living room was really nice as everyone was always involved wherever they were. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful week on the lake. Great location for boating, bike riding on the Keuka Outlet Trail, going out for dinner, & wine tasting. Home had a lot of great amenities and high quality appliances.

We had an excellent experience. The home was as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a very minor issue with the hot water heater. It was addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. Would definitely stay there again.

A perfect stay!

Accommodations were fantastic. Despite some terrible weather we had everything we needed to entertain adults and 4 kids. The entertaining space downstairs with toys, games, fooseball table, pool table and hot tub were an awesome addition. Great communication from the management company. Beautiful lake views. Would definitely recommend.

Great views of Seneca Lake! A very spacious house with many amenities for a four couple gateway. We had a lovely stay overall, but we did notice that the outdoor grounds and inside lights could use a bit more attention, as there were many bugs and cobwebs in certain areas. A little extra care in that regard would make the property even more enjoyable. Thank you for hosting us!

Serenity on Seneca Lake

We’ll equipped lakefront home. Accommodated 8 adults and a 7-month old child comfortably for 2 weeks. Four adults of our party worked remotely a few days with no Wi-Fi issues. Crib and high chair were obviously a welcome feature for the child. Kayaks a plus. Communication with management was great. They are very responsive.

Grown sibling getaway

I was looking for a house that could comfortably hold 5 adults in separate rooms. Serenity place was perfect! Although also good for families with children, there were 5 bedrooms and all had double beds. (Also two addt’l single beds, one a top bunk, that we did not need.) The pool/ping pong and fuseball tables were all enjoyed. As well as the hot tub, fire pit and kayaks. Truly, everything we needed to have a fun vacation was there. The location was also fantastic; on the west side of Seneca Lake it was conveniently located to a lot of attractions (Watkins Glen State Park, WG Raceway, towns of WG, Penn Yan, Seneca. And, of course plenty of wineries.) The house was also spotless! Beautiful decks. Truly, there wasn’t anything missing and we will definitely stay here again.

Disappointed

While our time spent with our children for three nights/4 days was wonderful, The property itself was not as expected. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean however, there is a lot of deep cleaning needed at this home. The windows were dirty, which made viewing the lake, not pleasant from inside. The sliding doors don’t work great, and only a couple had screens which were ripped and dirty, and difficult to slide. The basement area could use a fresh coat of paint, especially going down the stairs. There was ping-pong in a pool table, which was super fun, but the accessories are falling apart and need to be replaced. The home didn’t have a comfy feel to it especially since our stay was during the holiday that would have been a nice touch. There was a sad, looking artificial tree that had two strings of lights on it and one string didn’t work. There were excessive amounts of notes everywhere in the home, which was information included in the email from the property manager via email, as well as in binder. The floors are exceptionally squeaky to the point where it would wake people up sleeping in the nearby bedrooms either below or next to the bathroom on the first and the second floor. The area is wonderful the town is nearby. The lake is beautiful. Please take these as constructive criticism to give your renters a more pleasant experience. My family and I travel a lot and use VRBO This was not one of our favorites

Serenity Place is just as advertised. Beautiful lake house with all the amenities in a secluded, quiet location but with easy access to wineries, hiking trails and all the Finger Lakes has to offer. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub and fire pit. The property management company (Linger Hospitality) was very responsive and provided excellent communication before, during and after our trip. We would definitely go again.

Great place and we enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and very well equipped. I don't think I have ever stayed at a property with so many instructions and reminder notes, they are posted everywhere.
