「This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!」

「Well appointed with all the amenities we could want, and more. Spotless throughout, plus a very comfortable bed. The most beautiful setting in a storybook village!
I came here to see and experience where my great grandmother was born, and was overwhelmed with the beauty of this very special place!

「Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.」
