We booked the weekend getaway the day before arriving. The room was very artsy and spacious for a boutique hotel. The outdoor space had games and generous seating options. The lounge area on the level was full of books and interesting collections. The bed was very comfortable. We had dessert at the restaurant. Having the restaurant was an added bonus. We hope to return this summer. The location was perfect with many restaurant in walking distance.

Virtual check in was pretty obnoxious. It's just not a welcoming experience to a property at this price point. Also, no on site breakfast or even like a coffee bar. Honestly the only employees on site are working at the restaurant, and only in the evenings. It's basically a shared air bnb. Oh and the pillows were awful.

Very thin walls. When the TV was on in the next room it seemed to be in our room. Keyless entry (no front desk) is difficult and simply means we did all the work. Key code is not provided much in advance.

This is a converted church which means the rooms are not standardized and your experience might depend on which room you are assigned. The hotel has good beds and linens, but small rooms ( or some are at least) a very poor, loud, AC system, poor cleaning, very poor sound proofing of rooms. It really depends on the price point you pay. These rooms can be as much as $400. They are worth 1/2 that amount. If you are paying at that 1/2 rate, then maybe an OK proposition. For example in room coffee provided is "instant" coffee. That a cheap way for the hotel to provide this service ( less labour cost) but not in keeping with an expensive room Also, note this is a 2 star - staff-less hotel. If you have any issues, no one will respond to you. I waited 13 hours for a responce. Most reponces are written by AI - and contain very little useful information. This is our future I suppose. I am predicting an AI generated responce to this review !

I loved the attention to detail of this boutique hotel! The records and record player provided, the pitcher and glasses, the hand painted tiles in the bathroom and beautiful wallpaper made it a unique place to spend a date night in Pensacola. My one complaint is the lack of water pressure in the shower.
