“One of the best properties we’ve stayed over the past 10 years. Communication was beyond amazing, anything we needed or asked, the host responded to within minutes. The property is on a nice quiet street, it’s very cozy and decorated nicely, makes you feel like you’re at home. One of our favorite places was the little reading nook in the living room, what a nice touch. The property was clean, well stocked with items needed (towels, dishes, pans, toilet paper, etc.). Parking was not an issue as……

“Charming, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Responsive hosts. Great nearby restaurants and close to downtown Peoria (came in from Chicago for St. Jude Runs fundraising event). ”

“The home overall was pleasant with a few problems that ultimately kept it from being perfect.These problems include the following:1) Many items in the kitchen were dirty upon arrival.2) The wifi was borderline unusable in the living room. This wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for the fact that there was nowhere to setup my computer anywhere else in the house. I would heavily recommend adding a small desk in the master bedroom or adding a wifi mesh extender in the hallway by the laundry……

“** RENTER BEWARE **I originally rented the Bumble Bee Cottage from 1/28/26 through 1/31/26 (spoiler: I left 1/30 because of the nastiness described below). The cottage looked decent at first glance.I was tired from a long travel day, so I prepared for bed after eating dinner. When I went to pull back the comforter from the bed, I discovered first that the white pillows had VARIOUS TYPES OF HAIRS on the pillowcases and sheets! One pillowcase had a red stain. I ended up having to go to Walmart to……

“Good house for a low maintenance family. All basic amenities were present and house is in a quiet area.”

“The owners spent a ton of money remodeling the place and did a good job. We rented it for the holidays but the day before the cleaners noticed a problem and the owners had to call us to cancel our reservation. At first that sounds horrible, but it was not due to their neglect and had they allowed us to stay the result would have been less then great. I am thankful they sacrificed their income to make sure we did not experience a bad rental.”
