「I read that there was no elevator, but your room is on the third floor because the family lives on the lower floors. They were helpful with luggage, but we still lifted our luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. The property is located on a one-way street. So, many taxis and Ubers have a difficult time because it takes an extra 5 to 10 minutes to pick you up.」

「The apartment is well decorated with adequate space for dining, seating and kitchen facilities. The location is in the prime tourist area but it was surprisingly very quiet. Restaurants, bakeries, grocers are all nearby and extremely convenient to get to. It’s walkable to the Old Fortress and even to the ferry terminal. Highly recommended.」

「I absolutely loved staying in this little apartment: it was clean and was equipped with all necessary equipment (kettle, cooker, dishes/crockery, fridge, microwave, ironboard/iron, hairdryer, hair staightener, aircon). The small terrace is overlooking an excavation site and was a wonderful place for a morning coffee or an evening aperitif.
The ladies who are taking care of the place were always contactable and checked on me every few days. I found them very helpful and kind.
I walked from & to...
