“In the middle of a long distance road trip, my wife and I suffered an engine failure. Long story short, we checked into the hotel around 11pm. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. In the morning, the staffers helped us get reorganized and back on the road. We were treated like family. I am sad to say that while our room was lovely, it was not ready for guests. We found dirty bedsheets and small trashy items behind the furniture and around the room. It made for an uncomfortable night…”

“The host didn’t pay his power bill and the power was cut off. This is after I sent him the notice that was on the door. They didn’t have WiFi service until the 5th day. His bathroom threshold was a on inch high wooden board that busted your toe at night. They didn’t provide basic supplies like dish washing liquid or coffee supplies .
