“The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was decent.”

“Upon arrival and check in, our first offered room smelled awful, the second was a bit better & the third worked great. It was obviously a known issue because the staff asked if it smelled moldy when I said it smelled bad. Our 2nd room had some lights and a the bathroom fan that didn’t work. The 3rd was well maintained and quite clean. The pool got the most attention, which was comical considering the small of some of the rooms. I gave them 5 stars because the staff, specifically Freddy, went……

“Clean room”

“They can most definitely do better.”

“Great place to stay not far from the lake the hosts were amazing lots of room and very nice place and very fair price 100% would stay again!!”

“Very nice. Was exactly as advertised. Bakery across the street was excellent. Highly recommend.”

“It was a cute little apartment and we really enjoyed being downtown. It was everything we needed.”

“The cabin was absolutely beautiful and honestly the pictures from the listing did not do it justice! It was very clean and well kept. Check in was very easy, but I do recommend having the door code saved on your phone or the WiFi password saved. We made the mistake of not doing either and none of our phones had service so we had to improvise on that. We really enjoyed our stay and I would 100% go back there again. It was very private but there were still other cabins in the area which made us……

“Great cabin! Cute, clean, quiet and conveniently located to everything we had planned for our trip. The host was easy to get ahold of and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.”

“The house and the property were perfect for our trip to the Hoosier National Forest.”

“The host, cabin, location, and amenities were awesome! The town of Derby has everything needed for a weekend stay and fishing! And the people of Derby are very friendly and helpful! We will be back!”

“Enjoyed our stay by the river. The back porch is very roomy and it is a beautiful view of river from sunrise till dark. Very quiet and calm.”

“Cute little house with a nice big yard close to the lake.”

“The amenities were great (utensils, tv, appliances), however, we had serious issues with the cleanliness of the cabin. These issues lessened our 4th of July experience for my family. On the floor, by the dining table next to the wall, there was a large spot of syrup or something very sticky that both my son and I stepped in. We had to clean it up so we wouldn't keep stepping in it, and had to wash the bottom of the shoes off.Hundreds of mouse droppings on the floor next to the washer and……

“The property was conveniently located within all of our planned attractions.”

“This little river house was so cute and perfect for a weekend getaway! The house was very clean and they literally thought of everything - games, a coffee bar, kitchen supplies for cooking and much more! We also loved the added touch of the Bible on the nightstand & the prayer bowl to write down any prayer requests if you'd like. So special We will be back and we recommend others visit here as well!”

“Perfect cabin for a quiet peaceful stay. It is so roomy and clean and comfortable. So many amenities provided that add a sweet home like feel! Tom is a wonderful host. Wildlife is amazing! You are still close enough to Frenchlick, Paoli and Patoka Lake that its easy to run out for dinner. There is a Dollar General close by too. One of our favorite places we have ever stayed at. The screened in porch with the swing was the best for coffee and Jesus!”

“A pet friendly cabin that had everything we needed, A very peaceful and relaxing stay!”
