「Very clean, quiet and cozy place. No problems with any of the amenities of the property. The location is private and somewhat secluded. We didn't see anyone else around, and the street was free of cars/traffic driving by.」

「We loved our stay at this home! Everything was very clean and thoughtfully arranged for comfort. The beds and pillows were perfect! The kitchen/great room is so nice-lots of natural light. The host was so very friendly and accommodating. We will return to this house in the future!」

「The “cottage” was definitely not as advertised. It was rated well, which is very deceiving. It was dirty, dilapidated and the shower was something out of a horror movie. Mold had taken over. Expedia and VRBO should take a good hard look at how they vet their listed properties. But that was the good part. Approximately 11 pm, there was a knock at the front door. There were 3 gangbangers standing there expecting us to let them in. I yelled “occupied” out the door, they mumbled something and left....

「This property is one to remember! Amenities were clean, hot tub was fantastic, and host was polite and helpful in all areas. Home also came with many guides to the area and things to do! Our personal favorite was the billiard table. 」

「An amazing home! The perfect secluded area, but still so close to civilization!! The two lakes right by the house were amazing. The movie room was so nice and we loved the pool area that was just a 1 minute drive away! The massive fridge, deep freezer, and ice maker were huge perks. Also every person had an actual SUPER comfy bed to sleep on. 10/10 super luxurious and resort feels for southern Illinois.」

「This place was perfect for a winter getaway. Plenty of space with three bedrooms and two full baths, plus a cozy fireplace and hot tub that we really enjoyed during the snowy weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck was a nice touch. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Great experience overall. Would recommend, and we will use this place again.」

「The view is amazing. The entry, kitchen, and living room are an open concept and feel very spacious. The bedrooms are neat and clean with comfortable beds. The location is a little off the beaten path, but worth the view. The host left the porch light on due to our late arrival and the directions worked perfectly.」
