“This Inn was built in 1801, so it’s a very old Inn. There are not enough superlatives. Fantastic. Awesome. Amazing. Going back definitely. All rooms are beautifully furnished with four-posters and very comfortable chairs. Place to be lived in. Immaculately clean. As soon as you walk in you want to stay forever. Warm. Delicious homemade breakfasts. Innkeeper Elizabeth is friendly and accommodating. We could have talked for hours. Still blissing out days later. ”

“Completely unplug at this GORGEOUS mountainside Inn. Close enough to a few dining and shopping options so that you're not completely removed if you choose not to be. Glenn and Kay are most welcoming and Kay's breakfasts are DEEE-LICIOUS!!! Ask for the cheesy potatoes...you can't miss!!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!! Would go back in a minute!!!”

“The hosts Gloria and Stephen were so friendly and sweet! The house is beyond gorgeous and incredibly cozy. The room itself was beautifully appointed and we had a claw foot bathtub (swoon)! Breakfast every morning was delicious. Would love to return someday!”

“Agreed with all comments about the exceptional home made style breakfast. However, the second night there was a group playing guitar and singing. With over 200 years house, this was not welcomed especially after a tiring long ski day. Phoned hotel and also Expedia on that same night but both myself and Expedia could not get hold off host for resolution. Got to know next Morning that the voicemail probably was played and heard but did not take action. These days with many craziness in the news,……

“We had a lovely stay as a couple for 2 nights. All of the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was always served fresh and hot. We enjoyed conversing with other guests over the breakfast and the individual German pancakes served on the first morning were scrumptious! ”

“At first it was difficult to get in touch with the owners, as the number listed on some sights is the older number. Once I did they were wonderful. They took their time to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. So many little details! The town is so lovely - old victorian style and the house is walkable to a few restaurants. Great to have a mini kitchen available to use, with a big fridge to store items, while also a mini fridge in the room. Look forward to staying here again next……

“My stay was great. Angie was extremely helpful with allowing me to use the refrigerator for my food and helping with some of the details of cooking it. Also she helped me with my luggage. My only wish was that there was more light in the Blue Spruce room. Everything else was wonderful”

“This was an amazing property. The beauty of it made for a truly wonderful weekend experience! The initial booking was smooth and effortless. Communication with the host was stellar from start to finish! When we arrived two of the caretakers were on site to greet us. They thanked us for choosing to stay, offered to help with getting settled, and gave us vital advice on preventing bobcats and bears from being attracted. hey even left some farm fresh eggs for us! Our first stop on our setup tour……

“It was very clean and area is beautiful. The pictures did not show inside stairs and i just had back surgery. It was very difficult for me on stairs. I wish i knew that before booking.. Also the couch in living room was terrible to sit in. If they remodeled the upstairs, i would stay again. Thank you”
