- Located near the NC Zoo and situated on the edge of the Uwharrie National Forest, this cozy family cottage offers accommodations for up to 7. You'll be within minutes from local attractions such as Low Water Bridge, Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex and Seagrove Pottery. Golf, lakes, and other outdoor attractions make for awesome local day trips. The large yard and parking area affords adequate space to bring and maneuver your off-road toys, trailers, boats etc... The fenced yard welcomes Fido!

We had such an amazing stay at the cottage! The hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive, which made everything so easy. The home is even cuter and quainter than the photos show, and the property felt very private—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plus, the charming little town just 10 minutes up the road was such a bonus!

We very much enjoyed this property. Well stocked, extremely comfortable and a hit with our 2 dogs. They loved the fenced in yard. Hope to enjoy it again as our son’s family lives in the area.

Cozy cottage
Me and my family had a wonderful time here this past weekend. We wanted a place near the zoo and this place was wonderful. Beautiful, clean and communication with owner was superb. Would 100% recommend!

Cabin off the Woods
Wonderful home, comfortable relaxing area, generously furnished. Close enough to town and attractions. We would recommend this home for anyone to stay. Pet friendly large fenced in back yard and plenty of open fields to walk our dog. We will be using it again if available in the future.

This cottage was perfect for our short stay. Private, quiet and plenty of space. We found everything we needed. We enjoyed the comfortable back porch with the fire pit table. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard.
