“Very clean well kept property. Furniture shown in listing for family area is different from what is actually there. And what was there wasn’t as comfortable as what was in the pictures. Everything you would need was provided. Bedding was lovely. Bathroom was downstairs to both bedrooms and stairs were very steep.”

“We spent most of our time in the upstairs living space. The view was beautiful, the fire was cozy, and we were having a blast chatting and playing board games. Would recommend! :-)”

“The cabin was lovely and had everything you could need. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. I was surprised that Lake Arrowhead is so crowded with houses. They are on small lots and seemed on top of each other. So it wasn’t the wilderness experience I was expecting. Also not very tourist friendly as only homeowners are allowed to use the lake.”

“Had such a great weekend here! Really cute space, awesome town to get away for a weekend and unplug. Hosts were very welcoming and made check-in & check-out super simple. And the hot tub was really nice :) Thank you!”

“Our second time here. All that matters about this place is the 180 degree ocean view. Just spectacular. Of course we also love the ease of checking in, the well stocked kitchen, and San Clemente in general. Seems to us that SC is a little less touristy than beach towns north and south. Great restaurants, great vibe. We even went to the old mission at San Juan Capistrano! We will definitely rent here again.”

“We enjoyed our stay nice and quite it was perfect for me my husband, my two boys daughter in law and grandbaby. Drive to Arrowhead was only a 20 min drive. Check in and check out was easy.”

“We had a wonderful Spring skiing adventure staying at the Wrightwood Getaway Rustic cabin. Kelsey was an amazing host, answering questions and providing great tips (Taco Tuesday!). We had fun playing billiards and getting cozy by the fire watching movies. The proximity to the slopes and restaurants was close and accessible. Even our dogs had a fabulous time taking strolls through the snow and playing in the yard. Thank you for making our Spring break memorable!”

“This property was gorgeous and the owner was super kind, responsive and helpful! You walk in the front door and you're on the main level. There's a love seat, arm chairs, a TV and fireplace. To your right is a half bath that also includes the washer and dryer. Around the corner is the kitchen, which was bigger than I was expecting. Then down the stairs are the two bedrooms with a bathroom connecting in-between. One bedroom has three beds (two bunk beds and a 3rd on it's own) and the other……

“Needed a place for weekend getaway ski trip. Was a little nervous about the other reviews regarding dog barking, but didn’t hear anything. Maybe that’s a summer time barking thing. Cabin was great, host very responsive and helpful with information. Host left the heater on for are late arrival so it was ready to go upon arrival. Claw foot bathtub was in great shape with a “rain” shower head. Parking right next to porch for easy load in. A couple other cute touches setup by the host, but don’t……

“The house was clean upon arrival and nicely furnished. The upstairs bedrooms are good sized. The kitchen had most of what we needed. Downstairs bathroom appears to be updated and had better water pressure than the upstairs one. The outside deck has a nice view into the trees and is large. Some kind of repair needed for a covered hole there, but no problems with it. Location is just a short drive to the Village. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider for our next trip to the lake. High……

“Charming, quiet, peaceful, nicely decorated little gem in the woods. The right amount of theming without being "kitsch". Extra touches like, a phonograph, games, books, make a quiet getaway relaxing.”

“We had a great time at Opie’s place! It was exactly as described in the listing and had everything we needed. As a mom of two children (0-6) it was amazing to have things like children’s games, plates, a pack and play and high chair to use while we were there. It made such a difference. As well, Opie was super communicative. Overall, wonderful stay and we would totally stay there again.”
