"Mary and Tim have a very nice historic house that is updated with all modern conveniences. This is their home with a lot of personal decorations - it is not a bare bones rental. The kitchen is very well equipped, the family room has large comfortable couches and a huge TV, the bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms very good. "Great location by the water. Great food options just right outside. Walkable to other points of interest. Our only hiccup was housekeeping not replacing our towels when they came and cleaned. Other than that we were so relieved to have booked a great hotel during our time in Philadelphia."

"I’m a seasoned solo traveler and I journeyed to Philadelphia over Memorial Day weekend to do some historical exploring! I had a fantastic time (despite the rain…lol) and I could NOT have been happier with my choice of lodgings! Oh my goodness, the staff was so nice, friendly and accommodating! I had made a couple of special room requests and the staff fulfilled them both! A top floor room with a view of the Benjamin Franklin bridge! I SO enjoyed that view every morning and night! I had also asked about checking in early and checking out late and they worked to provide BOTH options for me - although I only ended up requiring the latter. But more than that, they were so, so nice to me! (Which is really meaningful when you’re a female traveling independently!) By the time I departed - Qua, Earl and Chris O. all felt more like friends than hotel staff…I can’t thank them enough for their genuine kindnesses and fantastic personalities! Additionally, I was super excited to be able to refill my water bottles in the lobby throughout my stay…and my bed and pillow (I really wanted to re-home that pillow!) were extraordinarily comfortable! It was truly a home away from home. And SO CONVENIENTLY located! If you’re visiting to explore the historical sites - look no further! You’ll be in the heart of them all! Thanks again for such an amazing time! LOVE THIS HOTEL!"
