The receptionists were very helpful and friendly during check-in and check out. They helped me find a parking spot as well during check-in. They maison good hygiene in rooms and bathrooms. The lobby area is vibrant and has good seating, kitchen and pool table to spend time. My only concern was that the linens provided, especially the towel, was roughed up and looked old. They were clean tough. Also note that there are no elevators. So accessibility may be a concern for people with disabilities.

Overall, I have been staying at Apple Hostel for school during the weekends. Staff are friendly. My one problem is that the hostel needs to change their mattress. When staying there several weekends the mattresses were not times hard to sleep on. I found myself turning back and forth to find a good spot and I wake up at times with back pain. This is my one concern, but I will stay there because of the cost; especially being in nursing school.

I have stayed here before and thus expected the same service and comfortable atmosphere. It is close to the metro train ( 1-2 blocks ) , plenty of restaurants , close to the historical sites and across the street from the Museum of the American Revolution.

really great location in philly, just a couple of blocks down from the liberty bell visitor's centre, super accessible via metro/bus etc. i would say the sleeping quarters felt clean and neat but the shared showers were a little grubby. would say worth the cost on location alone!

Very good experience

The staff was amazing!! The hostel is very conveniently located in the historic district. Even though the bed wasn't the most comfortable, it was still very good because I was exhausted. The bathrooms were very ample. Towels, shampoo, and body wash were provided. Good food was less than a block away. Safe area.

Love this place.

Was on a solo trip to the northeast and was glad to stay here after NYC. The hostel staff were all basically my age and super friendly. Excited to say I made good friends with them. Pablo, Sara, Via, they were all super helpful and fun. The kitchen was great too, was glad to not have to spend money going out.
