Good value and location.

Very friendly and helpful. I didn't realize the internal staircase to the rooms would be that steep and narrow, but folks were helpful. Comfortable bed with in-room AC unit, and space for belongings. Use of the kitchen and other amenities. Parking a challenge since limited street parking so had to hunt for that each evening. Good location, and affordability is a huge plus. Has everything you need. Info for check-in was provided in a timely way. Would stay again.

Home away from home

Peter and Ja were amazing. They make you feel like it’s your home as well. Wonderful atmosphere, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main roads. Will definitely be back.

Great place to land

I booked this room for my son so that he could search for an apartment in the city. The space was clean and exactly what he needed. Grocery store, restaurants and other conveniences were very close. This seemed like a really nice neighborhood.

Ja and Peter were absolutely wonderful, welcoming, friendly and just plain NICE! My room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was very clean! The kitchen was cozy, and clean. Parking was a little bit of a challenge- not unusual in a residential area with one side (of street) parking, plus, I arrived in the evening, after most of the parking nearby was taken. Peter was super helpful in suggesting alternate parking (not necessary but greatly appreciated!) I highly highly recommend Siri’s Favorite Place!!

This was my first experience with a BnB. I found the whole experience extremely favorable, though, initially, I was a little worried about the instructions for accessing the property. I did receive them the morning before my visit. The initial notification was just a confirmation of the reservation. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the fact the the owner(s) covered all guest contingencies, from sanitation on down. Good job! Yes, i would stay at the BnB again if the situation required. P.S. on the issue of "area around the property", I gave it 3 stars because the neighborhood surrounding the home was a little noisy; the condition of the exterior of the property itself, however, was quite acceptable.

NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED. I can only blame myself and Expedia, not the hosts. THIS IS A BOARDING HOUSE. YOU ARE RENTING A BEDROOM—EVERYTHING ELSE IS SHARED. I assumed I was getting the place to myself. As it turns out, I only really needed a private bedroom and a place to shower in the morning. I spent the rest of the trip visiting my daughter at college. The hosts were very pleasant. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Parking is first come, first serve on the street which often meant a long walk. Everything was clean. It was just awkward. I haven’t had a set up like that for 35 years when I was in college. I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE HOSTS!!! JUST REALIZE YOU ARE RENTING A BEDROOM. Of course there is a shared kitchen and fridge and dining and living and bathroom. Just want guests to know what they are getting into.
