You will love Star Villa in Red Pond, Sint Maarten. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, this spacious villa with private pool and outdoor bar could be your vacation hideaway!
You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with cooking island and bar with enough space for the entire family. A large living room, 2 bedrooms with a king-size bed and a 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds, all with their own bathroom and rain shower.
Outdoors on the large pool deck you'll find sun loungers and a bbq. Sufficient parking is available on the gated, 24/7 secured, property.

The house mom was excellent. She gave us good tips for travel around the island, was very friendly and welcoming. The view was lovely and the pool very nice. The only thing that would have made it better was if the hot tub had been working on a few of the cool evenings we had. Overall it was a very nice place.

The house surpassed our expectations! It had everything we needed plus more! We spent 8 days there and plan to return for sure. It is a trek to get to but the privacy and views are worth it!!!

Very private/Quiet

The property is up on a hill overlooking the ocean. Beautiful, quiet , and relaxing. We were a party of four which worked out good, you have two nice sized masters with private baths each. The house was very clean and had everything you need to enjoy your trip. The location is close to Phillipsburg, about 10 minutes. Be sure to rent a car with a bit more powered because you have a few long steep hills to get to the residence, but is very serene once you arrive to the gated residence. There was a security gate to get into the community. You have two steps to get into the residence and several steps to get down to the bedrooms. Neither had any railing to hang on to which would have been nice. You have a large veranda with a nice cover over it to relax out of the sun. Again you have three stairs to get down to the pool area. Plenty of lounge chairs to sun or chairs to sit and relax. The pool was the right size to cool off and relax. Again no hand rail to hang on to get in and out of the pool, this was hard due to our ages and not very stead on our feel. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to request for information due to medical issues during our two week stay. First day I walked into the closed hurricane doors and received a concussion. Second day I developed double pneumonia, and then Covid half way through the trip. Luckily my daughter is a nurse practitioner. She spent the entire trip saving me, my wife, her husband, and herself.

Ok but……

POSITIVES: house big, area was safe, and the view out back was nice. NEUTRAL: As far as cleanness, it was decent. Don’t expect nice stateside hotel quality. We had to wash counters and dishes before use. The location was rugged, very steep roads. You need to be a gutsy driver. We had a small car and could only climb some of the hills in first gear. Distances to beaches and food is short but it is truly unwalkable to literally anywhere. NEGATIVES: 1) wifi was completely out for a couple days and some other days it was sketchy. Expect to use LOTS of data on your devices. 2) the hot tub was shown in several property pictures but was out of service (and had been for some time). While it wasn’t listed as an amenity, since it was shown in pictures, we expected it to be working and we’re disappointed to find out it is not. 3) we had cold showers literally every day. There was about 5 minutes of warm water, 5 minutes of cool and the rest was flat out cold. That is total shared between all the bathrooms. For a house this size there should be an on demand water heater for the house or at least an 80 gallon tank. This has 30 and it doesn’t work well. (Also the issues were known before our stay and not resolved) 4) the power went out and the generator failed to kick in leaving us unable to open the electric gate until power came back on. 5) lastly, there is another dwelling sharing the property. When they cook the smells fill the lower bedroom.
