“Overall, a good deal for the price. Space is larger than expected. And kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals.Cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired. Bed and bath linens were clean, so that's a plus. We wiped down all kitchen surfaces, since there were some remains from previous guests. At that point, we ended up pretty much wiping down all surfaces. We weren't sure it was just a quick cleaning job between visitors, or the unit had sat a while. Things like windowsills and other corner……

“Great location, close to downtown area. Joetta was wonderful! We arrived super late, walked in to a lovely house and was happy to see that she left us wine and treats which was perfect after a long drive.”

“The rental was immaculate and very well stocked. Easy to find and convenient to everything we needed. It was a great family getaway while attending our daughter’s graduation from UNG. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.”

“The Cottage in the Woods was a well appointed cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the screened in porch. We liked that the kitchen, dining and living areas were joined so that we weren't cut off from each other.”

“The Treehouse is really just amazing! The place is clean, well kept and feels so cozy. Sitting up in the trees while still being so close the the town of Ellijay was just perfect for what we were looking for. The driveway was a little intimidating with a 2 wheel vehicle but we easily solved that by leaving our vehicle at the bottom across the road. We hike/bike a lot so walking up and down wasn't an issue for us once we unloaded upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again!!”

“Views of the river and the screened in porch was amazing. Property is quiet. It’s an older property but was nice. Needs some TLC. If you are looking for a 5 star, this is not your place. If you are looking for a great vacation place and cozy this is your place. I’ll be booking here again in a few months. FYI, we had some bad weather Tuesday nite and a tree fell up by the entrance so the power was off at the gate entrance. My brother and nephew could not get into the property for about 8 hours.……

“We had a terrific vacation here. It was quiet and the forest was teeming with the beautiful sounds of nature. It was nicely appointed inside and outside. The driveway is daunting the first time, but after a time or two it is fine. ”

“ Perfect spot to disconnect! Having both the cabin and RV gave us great flexibility. The separate fireplace made evenings cozy, and the creek added a peaceful touch. Amanda, the host, was outstanding—kept us informed daily, and everything ran smoothly. I’ll definitely be rebooking!”
