"Very clean & updated hotel in central Salem. The rooms are "micro", so not much room - but if you don't require much room you'll be fine. Parking is in the Salem Central parking deck ($20/day) that can be a ceased in the building directly across the walkway, so you won't get wet if it's raining."

"Cleaning staff emptied trash once, didnt vacuum and left our door open from 3pm until we found it about 630pm that evening. The desk staff didn't seem to care when I reported it. The photos of the rooms are not very revealing of the actual room. I reserved the Bertram with a Queen bed and when we walked in there was just enough room to walk as long as you didn't try to pass the other person in the room. VERY costly for what you actually receive."

"Disappointed in what we got for the amount we paid. At first glance things seem great but the details are lacking. Parking was full when we checked in, had to circle several times and finally went in and asked before we were then told it was OK to move a cone blocking a space to park. Would have been nice to know up front. We also asked the front desk to address the noise in the room from the AC/hearing unit and they did not. It was off but still making loud noise like a white noise sound machine would. Other details also overlooked, like the bed frame sticking out pass the mattress, you hit your legs on it getting out of bed and the shampoo/body wash bottles that are fixed on the shower wall were put at the most narrow point instead of the back wall so we kept hitting elbows on it. The pool could use a cleaning. The highlight here is that it was clean and there was adequate hit water but if we come back to town we'll stay somewhere esle."

"Parking was easy and conventient, staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very centrally located, didn’t even need to pull the car out for most of the trip. Room and common areas were spotless, modern, and comfortable. Plenty of outlets, room coffee, and the mini fridge and microwave made this a seamless stay. Breakfast was delicious and filing with hot options and a great variety. The room was perfect with so much natural light and a view of old town hall! Stayed for work and would stay again, thanks for a relaxing and luxurious place to rest between all the hustle. "

"Our stay at the Warlock House was nothing short of magical—truly one of the most unique and memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped inside, we were completely immersed in a whimsical, spellbinding atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of Salem. Every room is thoughtfully designed, from the enchanting “Haunting Hallway” to the cozy, beautifully themed bedrooms. The attention to detail is incredible—there are surprises and delightful touches everywhere you look, making the entire house feel like an interactive experience rather than just a place to stay. The house strikes the perfect balance between fun and comfort. The beds were extremely comfortable. The Herbarium (where I slept) felt like a peaceful, healing sanctuary. I have never slept better in my life. The house was spotless and the modern amenities (fast Wi-Fi, smart lighting, and a fully equipped kitchen) made everything effortless, especially my morning coffee. We loved the customizable lighting and magical “spell” features in the Spirit Parlor —they added such a playful, immersive element to our stay. I spent a good amount of time in the Parlor, spinning the Wheel of Fortune and reflecting on some upcoming career opportunities. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. We were just a short walk from iconic attractions like the Salem Witch Museum and the Peabody Essex Museum, which made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. I loved taking walks into town, admiring the architecture and having easy access to shopping! What really sets the Warlock House apart is how much personality it has. It’s clear the hosts put tremendous care into creating an experience that feels special, immersive, and just plain fun. Whether you’re a fan of Halloween, history, or just looking for something completely different, this place delivers in every way. We left already talking about when we can come back—and next time, we’re staying even longer. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking to experience Salem in the most magical way possible!"

"First, I’ll say the host Tristan is amazing. Very responsive & accommodating. Easy check-in & check-out. The VRBO is true to pics & description & then some. There were 4 adults staying on our trip. Very modern, spacious & perfect use of space. Very clean & comfy. Plenty of towels & toiletries provided. The bedding is top tier/hotel quality. Quiet location in the heart of everything. We will definitely be booking with Tristan again! "

"The rental was beautifully maintained and decorated. You absolutely can walk to the City center, and having parking at the rental was such a relief. The only thing to note is that this is a third floor rental with a very narrow and winding staircase, so keep this in mind if you have accessibility needs!"
