I wasn't expecting the Ritz when I booked a room at this 2-star inn, especially at the rate of $30/night. I should have known better. But boy was this place gross. The check-in person was rude and told me to park in back when my room was in front and take the elevator up when there was no elevator. I guess she was messing with me. The floor inside the room was sticky. There was no comforter on the bed, just damp sheets, literally wet from dampness. The bedside lamps did not work leaving the room dark, so I used my phone's flashlight to look behind the bedside tables to see if the lights were unplugged. What I discovered was absolutely nasty. I let the front desk know the lights didn't work and they said they had no other vacant rooms, when the parking lot was a ghost town, and that the light bulbs probably needed replaced, but didn't offer to replace them. The pool was disgusting, in a glass building with no ventilation which was about 90 degrees inside. There appeared to be no filtration in the pool, it was warm green stagnated water. I wasnt about to get in. I had booked two nights and decided to check out early after one night. Here's the kicker: they charged my card for 2 nights stay though I booked and paid on Expedia and charged property damages when I checked out and never mentioned it. I noticed the charges as soon as I got home and called the motel. No answer. After a couple hours calling with no answer I contacted Expedia. Thankfully, I got a refund. Scam.
