Probably the worse condo in 9 years

Dirty, broken furniture(love seat was not functional), all dining room chairs were stained, lights that would not work and burnt out bulbs, big holes in second bedroom sheets, issues with tthe remote, filthy windows and second bathtub, also trouble with this drain. We have been coming to pigeon forge once or twice a year for the past 9 years. We don't ever expect pristine but we do expect clean and functional. This is, by far, the worst condo we have ever had.

Clean but disappointing

This was our family vacation for the year and the condo was not comfortable. The temperature was 80 inside the condo for 2 out of 3 days of our stay. After speaking with the property manager 4 times she finally sent a maintenance person to the property to check the AC. The AC company wasn’t able to work is in their schedule until Day 3 of our stay. No refund as to our uncomfortable stay and “contract” prohibited her from calling another AC company. She refused to call anyone until I had to get ugly and call VRBO to report the problem. The pool was nasty and was glad to be leaving.

We've stayed many times at Mountain View condos. First time in this unit. While the location is great, this condo is showing wear and tear. Also, I don't think their cleaning service is doing a very good job.

Wonderful Family Getaway

Our family of 5 enjoyed a great little getaway to spend some family time. Condo is in a quiet and relaxed setting and the pool complex is very nice. The only problem we had was that the sofa bed was not comfortable for an adult. Our children are all grown and our daughter was on the sofa bed and it was very uncomfortable for an adult. A child would probably have been fine but it seemed there was very little mattress and mainly springs, so she just slept on the couch, instead. Being the only girl, she usually gets the sofa bed when we stay anywhere but this one was by far the most uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a great time! Thank you for sharing your home.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean, comfy and quiet with everything we needed. The teens enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I liked the location, close to everything, but not right in the middle of the busy area of Pigeon Forge.

Dated and dirty

My family of 6 stayed in this condo last weekend. After a long day of travel followed by hours at Dollywood, we checked into the condo just before 8:00, as our young kiddos were ready for bed. The first thing we noticed was that the bathrooms were not clean. We ran out to the grocery store to buy some cleaning wipes and I was disgusted when, what I had hoped was just an old toilet seat was actually filth that came off when scrubbed. Around the base of the toilet on the floor was also dirty and came clean when I wiped it up. I then swept the bathroom floor and had a pile of gross hairs and debris. The bathroom mats, which were supposed to be white, were dingy and black. I took pictures of all of this and wish I could post them. Because we walked into a condo that didn’t even have clean bathrooms, we had zero faith that the rest of the place was cleaned, so it was very difficult to feel comfortable for the duration of our visit. I did message the property contact that first evening and she was very quick to respond, but it was too late at night to have waited for someone else to take care of cleaning that should have been done before we arrived. The towels are dingy and old. The bedding has noticeable dirty spots because the comforters need to be washed. The tile throughout the condo had obviously not been mopped. Never mind that the listing states extra cleaning for covid compliance. Not true. The upholstered dining chairs are VERY stained. The walls are dirty. The carpet and rug need cleaned. It just needs a serious deep clean and refresh. On the positives, the king beds nicely accommodated our family with room for a pack and play beside the bed. The location of the condo is great for a weekend at Dollywood. Close to grocery stores, dining, shopping. We arrived at the same time many other people were arriving back to their condos for the evening and it was quite noisy at first. We were very worried we wouldn’t be able to sleep with all the loud closing doors. But actually, it did end up being rather quiet. All in all, for the cost, I wouldn’t stay here again. For the same cost you could get a decent hotel suite with a continental breakfast and clean bathroom.

Decent place, nice location

The unit was nice, could use a little sprucing up. The tiles were cracked in the foyer and the shower curtain had mold on it-my daughter refused to shower in it. It could easily be replaced. Otherwise, the unit had what we needed for a few days of R & R.
