“This yurt was exactly what I needed. I was traveling from AR to PA with 2 kids and puppies. This yurt had everything we needed. It was clean and beautiful. It also had more accommodations for dogs than I even realized.”

“I like it. I would book again but in warmer weather for me. I enjoy the scenry, the openness and the quietness. One suggestion, maybe i overlooked it but state that cell phone connectivity is low due to area. If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing.”

“No wifi and cell service is very spotty as one would expect. Not a criticism, just an observation. There are a good deal of steps to deal with so beware if you have mobility issues. The lake itself is a walk away, no direct views from the house. The rear deck needs some TLC.”

“Great yurt with all the comforts of home. I stay in a look pf vacation rentals and this one is very well equipped! They have everything you could need from a long nose lighter for camp fires to bug spray. There were even snacks waiting for us, stuff to make s'mores and treats for my pup. These people know how to run a rental and it shows with their attention to detail. We loved the hike down to the creek (hike up is a workout with 200ft of gain over .25 miles) and our dog loved all the wide open……

“This property provides a wonderful riverside stay on the New River right on the river with easy access and easy parking right in front of the cabin efficiency. Close access to to the Whitehorne Boat Ramp for those the need a ramp as well as the scenic McCoys Falls right up Rt 625. Communication and instructions was excellent to plan our arrival and stay for the weekend.We look forward to coming back again this summer.”
