“An excellent location for hiking the Pine Creek trailhead with some Yellowstone fishing thrown in, The house was as advertised with the added bonus of a very clean hot tub, Would definitely consider staying at Yellowstone Pines again.”

“You can not beat the views from this little slice of paradise! Peaceful, quiet and getting into Yellowstone from the North side is so much easier! I've shared the vrbo listing with family and friends who saw the pictures i took and were blown away by the beauty!”

“We’ve stayed here many times to the point where I’ve lost track. It rained for most of the time but we soaked at Chico and also had a wonderful meal at their dining room. We watched movies and read a lot. We also prepared our own meals using the fully stocked kitchen. A new addition was the the wifi, which I was grateful for as I was able to monitor my home and greenhouse remotely. Had it been nicer weather, we would have hiked up to Emigrant Creek Falls. We’ve also taken our bikes several times……

“We loved everything about our trip to the Yellow Rock River Ranch. The location was exactly what we wanted: close enough to bozeman, livingston and yellowstone but also far enough away where we could feel like we were getting away from it all. We saw and did alot of wonderful things but honestly just hanging out at the house, sitting on the deck looking at the mountains and river was as good as anything. It was awesome having a ranch next door and being able to feed the horses as well. A+, we'll……

“Sarah is an incredible woman she purchased the properties disassemble relocated and reassembled them where they are now located she lives on a third cabin on site and will answer all questions and gives great insight to the best unknown spots. oh yeah one more thing she does not just tell local folklore on wildlife she personally survived a Grizzley mauling her story is written in several books but to hear it from her mouth it carries a much greater weight.”

“Everything about the stay was wonderful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we arrived the day the Northern Lights could be seen due to a solar storm. There were few lights in the area, so we had a great view of the night sky and the lights around midnight. We also took advantage of the Chico Hotsprings tokens included with this stay, and it was well worth it! The only downside is there was no working shower due to a snow storm a few days before we arrived, and we were not made……

I enjoyed this place to unfold and grow it served as a perfect container / home base for the journey I had embarked on. The host, Kindra, was a strong communicator and was a very gracious host. “Bear Paw Flats cabin is cosy, quiet and surrounded by prairie fields. The bed is large and comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and the location was ideal for fishing the Yellowstone River and associated creeks. We would book again.”

“This place was very clean and allowed pets. I thought there might be a fenced yard accessible but there wasn't. Livingston has a leash law for dogs which I appreciate! I was able to walk my dog safely though the neighborhood. Have a flashlight as there are no street lights. This place is small so if you were staying more than 2-3 days it might be inconvenient. It is close to the Yellowstone River. It was incredibly quiet and I loved that. The bathroom was very nice. I would stay again.”

“We loved our stay at the hanger. There is nothing negative to say. The mountains are beautiful surrounding the property. There is an adorable family of prairie dogs right outside your door that is so entertaining to watch. We also loved seeing the Bible on the table as soon as you walked in the door.”

“My wife and I took our 5 year old granddaughter to Yellowstone and thought Emigrant, Montana would be a good base camp. Jean and John’s house proved to be the best vacation rental of the 15 or so we have rented. The view of the mountains is stunning and the house is wonderfully quiet and secluded. We will be back for certain, 5+++ stars!”
