Golf Trip

We had stayed here before the remodel. The owner has made some very nice changes. Up to date and pleasant decor, a great lower level with entertainment and beds. We stayed for 4 nights and played golf in the Pinehurst area. Restaurants and bars were very close by as well as the Pinehurst Clubhouse. The best feature was that we could in the great room and kitchen, eating, drinking and sharing stories'

Great place for guys golf trip

Place had everything we needed, was clean and great location. Only issue is the thermostat was set on a schedule. We lowered the temperature but woke up warm because schedule kicked in. Probably need to remind guests to set a hold for their stay.

Great house, good layout for a golf outing. Air wasn't working when we checked in. It was fixed as quickly as I was able to reach someone at Sandhills Realty.

The house was very spacious which perfectly accommodated our retreat activities.

The house was very welcoming and well supplied for our convenience. We were able to have meetings in the sitting room for our sessions. The dining room was perfect for the central location for distributing retreat materials. With various ages ranging from 19-67 we were able to sit in intimate age groups. We loved being to look out on the water (paddle boats would have been a nice touch) and enjoy the pool. The sleeping quarters worked perfectly. All 14 of the ladies were perfectly please. The only challenge was figuring out the light switches for each living space but we worked that out. We will definitely keep you in mind for future rentals.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here before but not since the upgrades. House is nice and having the pool on the lake is a huge plus. The money put into the house was great, especially the removal of the trees as we are avid yard game players. Even with the upgrades, there are still some room for improvements. The wood on the porch and especially the stairs to the pool need to be replaced. We had a guy cut his foot pretty good on the stairs at the pool. Also, better lighting for the back and side yards at night. We like to hang out after dark and it just wasn't possible. Ideally the house would have 2 more beds to accommodate our group better as well.

Plenty of hot water, the kids all loved the fabulous bath tub and showers. Very convenient to all the shops but in a quiet location. Private lake so no commercial boat rentals available, water low enough to walk into lake with our own kayaks. Deck will need renovating very soon.

You got them filled up by the time we got back from golf on Fri. Thank you!!2. The oven almost started a grease fire on Fri. We were able to open all the windows and clear out the smoke. The bottom of the oven was a pile of grease. We cleaned it up and we were able to use the oven3. The grill was also quite dirty. We were able to get it going and clean the grease and debris away and use it4. The air fryer wasn’t cleaned from the last use. There was still food in it and it was also quite dirty. We soaked it overnight and was able to use it the following day.5. General feel of the house was less than clean. I would look to have some conversations with your cleaning company.6. Bathrooms were nice and updated With some small changes to the cleaning company I would stay againThanks

Great Multi Family Place

Great place to host golf outing

The Lake House met all our needs. Close to courses, dining and entertainment. Big enough for 8 and can even cook dinners for the group. The pool is a nice perk as well. We'll be back.
