Great weekend stay, cabin was clean and had great amenities, the fire pit, pool table and hot tub were the highlights. Check out Grayson Highlands State Park, it was a great trip.
The property was great and the location served its purpose this trip. The swarming stink bugs were a problem. I found them in the bed, they dropped off me in the shower, and I had to unpack in the garage, where I found them in my belongings...not exactly enjoyable there. Everything else was great! I would recommend changing out the towels. When one rents a cabin over 1K the towels should not be thin, worn, and have stains on them.
Our family’s stay at logged out was the perfect getaway. Surrounded by stunning scenery, the cabin offered a peaceful retreat with modern amenities. The outdoor hot tub and fire pit were favorites, especially for our kids who loved roasting marshmallows at night. Inside, the lower level featured a pool table and games, keeping everyone entertained. The cabin’s cozy decor and well-equipped kitchen made it feel like a home away from home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, ideal for families seeking relaxation and adventure in the mountains.
The whole place was great, everything was as advertised. The upstairs mattress is wayyy too springy, so keep that in mind. I reckon anyone with any back issues would hate it. Almost un-sleepable

An excellent experience
The cabin itself was nice, nice floorplan and amenities, however, it could use a thorough cleaning. There were months, maybe years of dust build-up and the mirrors and windows were pretty bad. There was also a severe stink bug infestation. My teenage son chose to sleep on the sofa downstairs because there were so many flying around in his bedroom. They were everywhere, I've never seen so many in my life! The primary bedroom mattress is very soft/spongy without much support at all. The hot tub was nice but it kept going into sleep mode. The views off the front deck were spectacular.
It was a beautiful house. Great neighborhood. Close to a lot of activities. Hopefully the NC mountain communities will be whole again soon. God bless.

We had a lovely experience at this clean, mountain log cabin rental. Breathtaking views, great game room for both the kids and adults. Nicely stocked kitchen for our cooling needs.
The cabin was great and it had a lot of room. We enjoyed the game room downstairs and it has a great view. It's so quiet up the hill and just felt like home. The weather was in the 80's and the central AC couldn't really keep up and the down stairs rooms don't have any ac units in the windows so it was hot in the bedrooms downstairs. Other than that it's a great cabin

This home has everything you need to arrive, unpack and enjoy without leaving the community! Our trip was already planned with a trip to Grayson Highlands and West Jefferson and even a small County Fair one county over. But we could have enjoyed an entire week just lounging on the many decks, enjoying the hot tub, playing pool, Ms Packman and the many, many other games available. The views were great, and the area by the river was only about a 1 mile walk or drive. The fire pit was a favorite every evening. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings were comfy. The decor is mountainy with a cute bear theme and homey sayings throughout (beware:some deer and bird taxidermy included!). There was easy to use heating and air in every room so we all could be at our own comfort levels. So while we enjoyed the nearby sites, my only regret for this trip was not staying longer to enjoy all the house has to offer.

Very nice design a plus that there is a full bath on 2nd floor. The downside was no AC in 1st floor bedrooms, also 1st floor main AC felt undersized to cool the 1st floor. The main view of the cabin faces the west, and the sun just is coming through the gable windows. There is no kitchen exhaust fan to remove cooking odors to the outside. Apon arrival the cabin was so hot that it took 24 hrs. just to cool the 1st floor down.
We came in after dark. If the lights on the entrance column were on, it would have helped identify the road.
Great trip
Their was a yellow jacket nest near the hot tub
Could not use it
Small flies in the bathrooms and molded coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Otherwise, nice place.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
I really hate leaving bad reviews- it bothers me that I may hurt someone’s income with my words. At the same time, one of the reasons we settled on this property for our stay was every previous reviewer said the property was super clean. We did not find this to be the case. No one mentioned a bug infestation either. I’m aware stink bugs & lady bugs are more prevalent in the mountains, & they’re drawn to log homes. However, we’ve stayed at a dozen log homes in WNC, and prior to this home, we’ve had at most half a dozen stink bugs in the house during a weeklong visit. We conservatively estimate we smashed more than 100 stink bugs in our 2 days at Logged Out. When we first got there & were deciding who would sleep where, we went to the master suite upstairs & had to shut the door & leave it closed the rest of the weekend. They were all over the place. I pulled the curtains closed to trap the ones inside the blinds & there was a clump of at least a dozen stink bugs inside the folds of the curtains. We did the same thing with the downstairs game room- they were everywhere. In the main living area, every time we thought we had them all, we’d find a new bunch. It was impossible to sleep because the bugs would fly through the room. In addition, the queen mattress was very uncomfortable, and the hot tub water was really murky. I wish I could be more charitable with my review, but the house felt like it had been neglected. The view from the porch was beautiful, though.
