“We enjoyed our stay here so much! We came to town to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and this cottage was perfect! Such a sweet, peaceful, & well thought out place! We had everything we needed and enjoyed the hot tub. It’s secluded, but close enough to Tyler where we enjoyed a nice dinner. Will be back in the future hopefully!”

“My wife and I make many trips to the Houston area and try to stay in Tomball when we can. Of all the VRBO's we have stayed at this is by far the best one. The owners have done an excellent job in remodeling an older home into a clean and comfortable place to stay. Everything about this stay was excellent. Usually I can find a couple of things that were not right or missing to make me comfortable but the owners have covered this well. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is up to date and well……

“This is great for four people. The fifth and sixth need to be children. It's pretty small but very doable. Pretty much has everything you need in a lakehouse. No real complaints. Owner is super responsive.”

“This is a darling little place that gives you a feeling of getting away from it all without being too far away from it all. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the little front porch listening to the birds. We especially enjoyed the sheep and watching the dogs work to guard their flock. We would definitely stay again!”

“I can't communicate well enough how nice this property is. Check in was simple. Everything we needed was present. The house and property are lovely. It's close enough walk to downtown Jefferson, which we did. We walked back at 1:30 am and you can't do that most places. Hardwood floors, tall ceilings, big back porch...it's fabulous.”

The only reason the surrounding area lost a star is because it is a rustic environment - but that’s part of its charm! “Really liked this place. Wanted to get away for a few days so we rented this property because of the proximity to the lake. We decided to bring our boat down and thankfully the marina down the road allowed us easy access to the lake. Got some good fishing in. The house was clean and looked well taken care of. Nothing to complain about in the slightest. Just an a great trip overall!”
