The place was great for what I was looking for. Enough space for the family visit I planned. My mom has extremely high kitchen standards and it met almost all of the needs. There was some wear and tear on the place but nothing that hindered our visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pioche Family Cabin. The cabin was nice and well-equipped with good amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. It has a slightly rustic feel, but in a charming way that fits the setting. The location was ideal—close to town for convenience, yet peaceful and quiet, with plenty of deer and squirrels wandering by. This was our first time visiting this part of our beautiful state, and we found there was so much to see and do. A great spot for a relaxing getaway!

I received a text with the check-in instructions well before arrival and had no trouble getting into the property. Everything was clean and functional. We especially appreciated the cooking equipment in the kitchen and the proximity to Main Street.

Good but.....

Overall the stay was fine. The space was nice for our family. The cabin was not as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was a sticky mess on the kitchen counter when we arrived that we cleaned up. There were dead bugs/worms/insects on the kitchen windowsill. There were two soda cans under the couch in the living room, and other trash under the bed in one of the other rooms. There were cobwebs throughout. It is a cabin, and I expected that, but I did expect it to be cleaner. The couches in the living room weren't comfortable and could use an upgrade. The location was great. It is in walking distance to the market. The beds were clean, and the extra linen and pillows were appreciated. For what we were charged for a cleaning fee I expected it to be cleaner. Overall this is a great spot to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of Pioche.

Great location

For the most part we really like the property location and amenities, the host was very helpful and responsive to anything we needed. Having cooked most of our meals we were disappointed in the lack of good cooking utensils, pots, bowls etc. That part of the kitchen could use some upgrading for sure.

Great stay

Very nice cabin with enough space for 7 persons. Clean, great location, walking distance to the little "downtown" of Pioche. All very charming and enjoyable. Kitchen could have more utensils for cooking. But overall totally recommended. I would stay there again.

Peaceful Pioche Home Base

The property is well equipt and comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful home base with our 2 dogs while exploring Lincoln County and the cooler temperatures! Evening rains and spectacular rainbows viewed right from the front porch as deer pranced by up the hill. Walked down the street to the grocery store and to Main St where new businesses are adding to the classics like the Gem and the Silver Cafe. What a great get away!
