Perfect Stay!

We booked a last-minute trip to the desert with our adult kids and had a fantastic stay at this property. Booking and check-in were super easy; we promptly received all the property information. This house has everything you'll need to make your stay comfortable: a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, each with its bathroom, and well-appointed common areas. The funky rock n roll inspired decor gives it a unique vibe that is perfect for the desert setting. The house was clean, and many amenities were provided; we immensely enjoyed our stay! Our only wish is that we could've stayed another night!

Magical desert spot

My stay at this desert property was nothing short of magical. This property was amazing! The scenery was stunning we got vibrant sunrises and sunsets and the night sky was incredible too! The property itself was cozy, well maintained and had all of the comforts of home. If you are looking for a spot to unwind and reconnect with nature, this desert gem is the perfect spot. Plus, it’s an easy walk to Mane st! We will be back for sure!

Not your grandfather's house.

The property is high on the edge of the valley, set against the cliffs and built to fit into the scenery. The single story post modern design is a perfect fit for the environment. Windowed walls ensure staggering views all day and night with one side facing the sunrise and the other sunset and the milky way lighting the night sky to the point I barely needed outdoor lighting. The layout was very efficient with a massive kitchen/living room space that really worked for us. My 15yo granddaughter stayed in the attached Casitis which was pretty much self contained and gave both her and us the privacy needed but providing a common space to cook and hang out. Good times indeed and we're already planning to come back next year.

A Perfect Desert Oasis

First time visiting Joshua Tree for a show at Pioneertown. This house in Joshua Tree exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the serene desert views and the modern, music-themed design of the home. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing and luxurious experience. The layout of the house is spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked. The outdoor spaces are where this home really shines—sitting by the fire under the stars was pure magic, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The location couldn't be better—3 minutes from Pioneertown, yet tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area that felt completely private. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Overall, this house was the ideal retreat for our desert getaway, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a perfect blend of comfort, style, and nature, this is the place for you!

NOT THE HEAVENLY ESCAPE WE HOPED FOR

We recently stayed at Heaven’s Door in Joshua Tree, and unfortunately, our experience was FAR from heavenly. While we were excited to spend some time relaxing in this “desert getaway”, we were met with several disappointments that overshadowed our stay.Firstly, we were promised blackout shades prior to our arrival, but there were none in the property. Additionally, the hot tub turned out to be non-functional, which was another significant letdown, as we had hoped to unwind and enjoy some time in it.There were plumbing issues during our stay with the master bedroom having no hot water (in either the sink or the shower) which was incredibly inconvenient and disappointing.The photos of the property exaggerates how the home actually feels in person. We wanted to love this place, but instead, we were left feeling underwhelmed and frustrated. Given the range of options available in the same area, we cannot recommend Heaven’s Door to others
