  • Looking for a comfy place to stay surrounded by country air, rolling pastures and breathtaking sunsets in the Texas Hill Country? Come to our ranch to find peace and tranquility....your home away from home. Our family-owned ranch dates back to 1920 with the original rock home and outbuildings still in use. Your own quaint, solid redwood cabin is nestled amongst mature oak trees. A fully equipped kitchen, seating area, TV and half bath complete the open-concept downstairs. Make your way upstairs to a large bedroom, workstation, reading nook, full bath and private balcony offering endless Hill Country views. A short walk outside and you can explore the largest oak tree in Bandera County and the 8th largest in the state of Texas! Spanning an impressive 116', the canopy allows visitors to enjoy plenty of shade, breeze and relaxation. We are pet friendly and offer a kennel for your pet (if needed) and stalls for horses with turnout area near the cabin. We also have a large practice arena for your use. We are situated in the Texas Hill Country just a short drive to Bandera (6.5 mi), Boerne (21 mi), Fredericksburg (56 mi) and San Antonio (45 mi). Plan your stay today and make memories for tomorrow!

My husband and I had an amazing time staying at this cabin. It was perfectly located hidden in the middle of nowhere and then in a matter of about 10 mins you’re in Bandera, which is the reason for our stay. The beautiful sights and sounds of nature that we experienced at this cabin, especially in the early mornings while enjoying coffee outside, were my favorite part of the day. The bed was so comfortable that it felt as if we melted asleep. The visit by Fendi, the sweetest dog, one morning was such a nice bonus!

We walked into what felt like a 4 star hotel. Everything was provided, a welcome bottle of wine, snack basket and even dog treats and dog bed! The cabin is adorable. We didn't want to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, nature-filled, quiet escape from the city noise! Relaxing and peaceful and very cozy! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the wildlife!A lot of extra special touches such as Nancy's homemade sugar cookies decorated for Independence Day, treats for our dog, and cute Fourth of July decor in the cabin. The highlight of our stay was the incredible tour of the property with Nancy and our pup enjoyed it as well! Lots of beautiful, huge Live Oaks and Sycamore trees to admire.The tour was so much fun and lots of scenery to take-in and take pics of. Much thanks again to Nancy for hosting such an incredibly cozy piece of Heaven to your guests! We definitely will plan another stay in the future :)

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the very friendly host. We entered the ranch through a gate with code giving us a feeling of security. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The washing machine and dryer were first class. The property was pet friendly and we were allowed to walk the 100 acres and enjoy the outdoors that included wild deer and turkey. The oak trees on the property were magnificent. There will be another stay at this property for us in the future.

This cabin is a true get away! The owner provides such thoughtful personal touches to every part of our stay! We had the privilege of meetings her on our first visit. We're now planning our third stay!!Waking up to wide open space and seclusion of this cabin was exactly what we needed to unwind from the daily grind. There are no words to truly describe this place but I’ll try. Peaceful…Serene…Stunning…Calming…You have to believe God loves Texas when you’re here. It was truly hard to leave and get back to the real world. And although we didn’t get to meet our hostess (our fault) our communication with her was thoughtful and thorough. The pictures and description don’t do this place justice. Thank you again Nancy for a beautiful weekend!

This cabin was wonderful! Beautiful view, spacious bedroom and a great little patio area for watching the night sky. Felt secluded even with the host onsite. Close to Boerne, Bandera and we went into San Antonio to the River walk which was about an hour away. The cabin was clean and uncluttered which I really appreciate. Check in was a cinch and they even had a dog bed and bowls for our furry travel buddy.

Fantastic property. Quiet, peaceful, clean, cozy, close to Bandera. Easy checkin/checkout. Dog friendly including pet bed and bowls. Host left snacks and drinks, extra toiletries, and local guides. Easy and fast communications with host. I highly recommend this property and would book again.

Amazing!

This is the best VRBO I've ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. Better than advertised. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's peaceful, immaculately clean, and professionally managed. I stayed here with my dogs and felt safe, comfortable and at ease the entire time & the dogs loved it! This place feels like a hidden gem that you both want to rave about and keep secret because it's so special. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at the cabin, and it was such a wonderful place to spend Christmas week! Miss Nancy has thought of everything a visitor could possibly need. We loved walking the pasture road down to the creek with our dog every afternoon. We already have another visit booked! It's peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. Watching the wildlife at dawn from the upstairs porch while drinking coffee is a highlight.

Our stay here was absolutely incredible — honestly one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. My aunt and I traveled here with my two horses, and this place was a dream for both us and the horses. The property had 2 stalls connected to a huge turnout pasture, a massive arena to ride and let the horses run, and over 350 acres of beautiful trails. We spent hours riding through the hills, crossing creeks, and making our way up to the bluff overlooking the water. It was breathtaking. One of my favorite parts was being able to sit at the cabin and overlook my horses grazing while also seeing the 8th largest oak tree in Texas right from the property. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Nancy was hands down the sweetest and funniest host I’ve ever met. She made us feel welcome from the second we arrived. She had snacks, a bottle of wine, and homemade cookies waiting for us, and the cabin itself was spotless. She personally showed us around the property, helped us get settled in, and gave us amazing recommendations for places to eat, dance, and explore in town. One of the coolest things was being able to ride the horses straight into Bandera — the Cowboy Capital of the World. If you want to bar hop on horseback, you actually can! Just tie your horse outside the bar. Such a fun and unique experience. We loved this place so much that we extended our stay another night, and already planning to come back! THANK YOU NANCY!

The barn for the horses. There’s 3 stalls in there but I used 2. Behind my horse in the pic is a huge grass area they are able to run and graze if you decide to keep their stall doors open.
The running area connected to the barn. The grass and good grass. My horses had no problem with colic
The barn was so cute and came prepped with everything you need for a horse. Just bring ur hay and grain.
