“Excellent stay! We couldn’t be happier with our time at this cottage. We enjoyed using their four complimentary kayaks (they had life jackets and paddles for us), had a fire at night (host supplied free chopped firewood), grilled out burgers on the grill, and rented a pontoon boat and wave runner (Lake Winnebago Boat & WaveRunner Rentals is next door. The host (Brad) who owns this cottage also owns the boat rental place next door). We even did some fishing (there is a bait shop also next door)……

“My husband and I just had the absolute best stay at this amazing little cottage on the Fond du Lac River! If you are looking for a perfect getaway just down the river from Lake Winnebago, this is absolutely the place to book. The cottage itself is incredibly cute, beautifully decorated, and was spotless when we arrived. The host has thought of everything to make it feel like a home away from home. We spent our days making full use of the kayaks (provided by host at no charge) and fishing right……

“We appreciated the friendly supportive customer service and the home was beautiful! The patio and fire pit were great additions. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone!”

“Property was great! Perfect for a fishing trip or maybe just boating. The host was very responsive and helpful the whole way. Plenty of room for a boat to back in and boat launch about a mile away. We were able to park boat in water behind house while we were there, which was very helpful. The backyard was cozy and peaceful with gas grill and a nice fire pit with plenty of seating. The property had kayaks, life vest, and even some poles and tackle for us to use. Couldn't have asked for more.……

“It was nice. We found the kitchen lacking. No pot holders for example”

“The character of the house shines through and is lovely to spend time in. The little sun room off the kitchen we ended up in often. There is no dishwasher but washing dishes by hand in the vintage sink is enjoyable. Overall an easy process. The stairs could be tricky for some people (old house small stairs). But we had no issues. The agency that runs the home is quick and responsive and proactive. Overall great and pet friendly is a plus.”

“Awesome place, we will be staying here again when back in the area.”

“Great clean house. Owner was an effective communicator and very welcoming.”
