「This tiny little cabin is just what we needed. It has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The only thing I wish my wife could have done taking a bath in the outside tub. We will definitely be back. We also celebrated our 22nd Wedding Anniversary」

「Very pleasant place to stay. House was extremely clean, very well equipped, very convenient location. Large back yard is very nice - we enjoyed watching the deer. There were 6 adults in our party - very roomy and accommodating for all.We will definitely book again.」

「Absolutely incredible from start to finish! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need for a perfect week away. Every detail made us feel right at home, and the peaceful setting was exactly what we were looking for. We spent our week at The Eloise celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday and Brent went above and beyond, even surprising her with a card and cheesecake! The fire pit was laid out nicely and we even had the makings of s’mores waiting for us. We...

「Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!」

「Owner was very communicative. There were a few issues when we arrived because of the former renter. Philip dealt with the issues immediately. The older home is well maintained in an established neighborhood. Extremely clean. Home is well located to explore the northern, central and southern entrances to New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed having wine on the outside patio. Washer and dryer in the basement was a big plus. Enjoyable experience. William and Jan, Iowa」

「We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.」

「Love staying at your place! Always quiet and comfy home away from home!」

「Wonderfully scenic property along a creek. The extensive outdoor spaces were great and we enjoyed the comfortable seating by the fire pit. Communication with the host was timely. I would book again. A few notes for future travelers - the upstairs bedrooms are not furnished as shown in the photos - more like dorm bed frames now - not sure if this is temporary? If you want to drink wine/have glassware bring your own (thanks to another review we did). If the wifi is out - let them know ASAP. We...

「Our trip was such a great experience! Our host was very informative! The place comes with pretty much everything you need! Very clean and nostalgic to “ simpler times”. Very close to the river where we caught some fish. Bedding was clean and so was other furniture. Very relaxing and quiet spot to stay “ other than the railroad at some times LOL” but such a great place to stay and at the price. Very kid friendly as well! If you’re looking for a relaxing stay and just a great get away trip this is...
