“We enjoyed our stay at DiSio Palermo Dimora di Charme. It is close to Quattro Canti and easy to go to many restaurants, museums and parks. Valeria was very knowledgeable about practical things like transportation to and from the airport. Breakfast was delightful every morning, often with an origin story about the pastries. Our room was fully stocked with glasses and even a hair straightener along with the hair dryer.”

“Giovanni was very friendly and let us arrive on our schedule and check in early and leave a little late. It was very nice because I was only here for one day searching for records of my family history. My great-grandmother was born in Bolognetta and it was really nice place to stay close to the church and the municipal archive of the town.”

“I want to start by saying that the hosts are absolutely some of the kindest people I have met in Palermo. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. It may have been my own oversight for not paying closer attention to the lack of an elevator and the type of accommodation this is. The rooms themselves were very clean, tastefully decorated, and offered excellent value for the price. However, our room was one of only a handful located……

“Die Lage ist absolut zentral und sehr gut gelegen. Einen Pkw Patkplatz muss man suchen. Der Straßenverkehr ist in Palermo sehr herausfordernd! Sehr freundliches Personal! Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll! Toller Aufenthalt!”

“I appreciate a service of Giada a lot. We arrived late at 22:30, and missed the reception opening time and her message in Expedia. Though Giada picked up our call, and instructed us to get the keys of our room. The keys of AC are not in the key ring but she delivered to our door. Breakfast is in a nice room near the entrance. Only thing is, we accidentally walked through the markets at night which is a bit messy and chaotic. Can try to avoid that area at night if walking to hotel.”

“Was very nice hotel and perfect location, problem was cleaning team didn’t come everyday and when they did was only at 8am and we wanted to sleep in during our vacation. People were nice when they were there but no one was at front desk 80% of the time”

The room (The Deluxe room with sauna) felt more like an afterthought room concept than a room itself - if you want the feeling of sleeping in a spa then this is absolutely for you- but I felt it was a bit weird - the shower is in the main room so you have to be very comfortable with your partner - didn’t feel the need for a sauna, it was hot enough outside, and overall……
