Lovingly restored traditional house at the fringe of an ancient village

"Wat een bijzonder charmant huis! Je waant je in dit autovrije bergdorpje in de Middeleeuwen, maar dan met alle moderne gemakken. Het huis ligt aan de rand van het dorp, met een prachtig terras grenzend aan de tuin. Daarnaast hebben de woonkamer/keuken op niveau 0 en de ruime slaapkamer op niveau 1 allebei een grote schuifpui die toegang geeft tot een overdekt balkon. Er is ook nog een slaapkamer op niveau -1 die grenst aan een tweede terras en alleen via de trap aan de buitenkant bereikbaar is.De woning is duidelijk vooral bedoeld voor de zeer vriendelijke eigenaar zelf en secundair om te verhuren. Dat is onder meer in de keuken te merken, die alle standaard keukengerei bevat, maar ook allerlei dingen die je lang niet altijd in een vakantiewoning aantreft, variërend van een knoflookpers tot en goede pepermolen en schaaltjes in allerlei maten. Koffiezetten kan met een Mika-pot op het fornuis. Er is ook een barbecue. Maar bovenal merk je aan alles dat er liefde in dit huis is gestopt.De eigenaar communiceert uitstekend, zowel in Engels als in Duits. Ik kon aan alles merken dat hij het belangrijk vond dat ik het naar mijn zin had.Houd je van flinke bergwandelingen, dan is dit huis een uitstekende uitvalsbasis, zeker als je bereid bent een halfuur te rijden richting het westen, tot achterin het dal. Maar ook boven de woning liggen prachtige bossen.Al met al heeft deze vakantiewoning mijn hoge verwachtingen in alle opzichten waargemaakt en soms zelfs overtroffen."

"Wir waren schon das zweite Mal in diesem schönen Haus zu Gast und es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Man muss sich natürlich auch darauf einlassen, am Ende der Welt Urlaub zu machen. Da muss man sein Gepäck natürlich durchs ganze Dorf tragen, hat dann aber auch keine Straße vor der Tür. Man kann auch nicht mal schnell zum Bäcker oder in die nächste Kneipe laufen. Wenn man das berücksichtigt, ist es sicher der ideale Ort zum Entspannen und loslassen."
