Great Place!

We enjoyed our time at Mission Bay chef. Anthony was awesome and we had the best meals on the days he cooked for us. Beautiful sunrise. We were a group of 8 adults and the house was perfect for us.

Wonderful Experience!

We had an amazing experience at this beautiful and well-maintained rental property. From the moment we arrived, the staff on the premises were incredibly attentive and always available to answer any questions we had. A special thank you to Erica, who was exceptionally responsive throughout the entire planning process and continued to be helpful during our stay. The property itself is stunning—clean, comfortable, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. We felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout our visit. Belizean Vacay

Mission Bay Villa was Awesome. Namir was the best hostess and housekeeper. Chef Anthony's food was amazing. Olvin the caretaker keeps the grounds in immaculate condition. We loved the pier and spent a lot of time there and in the pool. It was a fantastic trip.

Love the property care takers!

Yayme and Jorge were wonderful. I don't think I've had better. They were friendly and took great care of us. I had some communication problem with our concierge, Erica. Mission Villa is in a perfect location. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay with our family that included 5 adults and 4 kids. The kids enjoyed the pool and beach and the location was easily accessible. Namir and Trevor took good care of us. Namir kept the house clean and organized and Trevor even cut down some coconuts for us to try. They were both always willing to help! Our food from the chef was delicious as well. Belize is a wonderful place with wonderful people!

We stayed at Mission Bay for a week vacation. Words can’t express the hospitality we received from Jorge & Jeyme. They were fabulous!!! They answered questions & helped us with what we needed during our stay. Very kind, fun, & honest people. Orlando was our chef- great guy that makes delicious food!! The house was great! Plenty of room for 6 couples. The outside living area was perfect. Was nice to have the option of a pool, even tho the ocean was steps away. Had a fire on the beach. Coffee in the morning on the pier. Excellent stay!!!

It was so great I came back again this year

I stayed here last year and wrote a detailed review. It was so great I came back again this year with a different group of people and it was just as amazing! Last year I came with a group of friends all in our 50s...and everyone had an incredible time. This year I brought my family ranging in age from 84-26...and everyone had an incredible time. What a wonderful expererience

I can't say enough about the wonderful week we had at Mission Bay. The accommodations were perfect for us and the staff could not have done a better job of creating the experience we had. Everything was excellent, they were friendly, professional, responsive and helpful in answering all our questions and with their suggestions for things we could do. All of the add-ons, from the drummers to the painters and the massages and the photographer were well worth it so I greatly appreciated their thoughts on those things. And the food--oh my. Our chef prepared fantastic meals and was very accommodative with our special requests. If your family is looking for a place to spend a nice relaxing and fun week with wonderful people in a beautiful environment this place is perfect for you.

Great time in paradise

The house was great with plenty of room, floats for the pool, and toys for the ocean. The golf cart made getting around easy and we weren’t very far from the village. Namir, Antony, and Maverick were great to us. Namir made sure we had clean clothes and everything was in order. Antony’s food was fantastic and plentiful. Maverick was there for all of the behind the scenes things making sure the grounds were clean, in order, and everything worked properly. We’ll definitely be back!

2nd visit, planning third!

Our party of nine adults stayed last October for 6 lovely nights. The house comes with everything you could possible need and more. We appreciated Maverick's daily attention to the house. Chef Julia's delicious cooking left us with full bellies. She was even able to cook the fish our group caught on a fishing excursion. The housekeeper kept our rooms tidy and the laundry service was extremely helpful. The house it's self is set up so everyone felt like they had their own privacy and we loved spending time together in the outdoor dining/living area. The beach access was used daily. The water was warm and we were able to snorkel and see lots of fish from the pier. The golf cart was perfect to drive into town or the grocery store for beer/coffee runs. We also explored the local restaurants and bars at night. Placencia is a great town with such nice people. Our next trip will be with our kids and we can't wait for them to experience everything Mission Bay and Belize has to offer.

Great staff and location - listing slightly off on bedrooms

Overall we had a great stay. 7 adults and 4 kids. The layout of this house is awkward is why I am not rating it higher. The bedroom adjoining the open kitchen and living area has a wall that does not reach the ceiling and swing doors. This limits privacy and the ability for those occupants to go to bed/sleep in if others are in the living room or kitchen. Also, the house is extremely choppy as one has to go outside and take different stairwells to get to different rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Not a deal breaker - but felt the bedroom should have been called out at a minimum.

This place is amazing!

We went on a birthday trip with 8 ladies and this villa was perfect! The location is great and the house is beautiful. It's right on the beach! Everyone had their own bed and each room had it's own private entrance. We had a lot of fun getting to town on the golf carts. All of the on-site staff were very helpful and wonderful to us during our stay. The concierge, Erica was so great from the day we booked this place, she was so helpful with the planning of meals and excursions and was always available if we had any questions or concerns while there too! The chef made delicious meals and really made it easy for all of us with dietary restrictions. And don't forget about the cutest villa cat "mission" who entertained us with his daily naps and nocturnal energy! I would say the only negative thing we experienced was figuring out the separate grocery/chef and tip bills at the end of trip. Getting that all figured out was not fun, I would suggest that gecko reservations finds a better method for that.
