“The property was misrepresented and unsafe. My parents didnt stay with us due to conditions of the property. We contacted Vacasa the rental management company and decided to leave the property and stay with friends as the windows were broken and shattered and the master bed was broken, no wifi, no functional washer and the list goes on. I expect a full refund from VRBO....I am a frequent client of VRBO and this was not acceptable. Please advise how to go about obtaining a full refund or I will……

“I grew up on Long Island but no longer have family there. Derek's house was the perfect place to stay while visiting for the weekend. The house was clean, the furniture was very comfortable, and the view was beautiful. Derek was very hospitable and available for help if needed. I would definitely stay there again!”

“Nice place to stay. Small but has everything you need. Close to the major highways. Hostess Jennifer was great She checked in several times with me.”

“Close walk to the beach in a nice frendly neighborhood. The place was gorgious, though the linens a little rough. Kyle was a kind and thourough manager who was availible when we needed him. Biggest issue was that a night had to park a block or two away”

“We found the house to be really cute and fun to stay in. The location was excellent and we even saw a deer on our last morning! Our main issues, and why this isn’t a 5 star rating, were that multiple lighting fixtures weren’t working and there was an entire bed missing. The ad mentions “1 queen, 1 double, 4 twin’ beds however there’s really 1 queen and 4 twins. This could have caused a big problem if our group was just a bit larger. The ad should be changed to reflect the accurate information……

“Adorable home with water views. Close to sweet town. Was a ladies night away, great quaint home.”

“The house is in a great location in New Rochelle, near to a train station to commute to the city and for family coming in on Amtrak from Boston. The main floor of the house is cozy with a lovely kitchen and lots of seating space. Bedrooms were a nice size and we all felt the beds were extremely comfortable. Shower was really nice, too. Owner was responsive and easy to work with throughout the process.”

“We got to the house and it was a lovely house, in a great location. The garbage outside had meat and other garbage not in bags. The storm door was broken which we fixed ourselves, the floor was full of sand, the air conditioner in the kitchen didnt blow cold air and the fan in the ktchen didnt work either, the remote was nowhere to be found. I think some of our money should be refunded.”

“Me, my husband and 13 year old son came from NC to visit my mom who is sick. This location was close to everywhere we needed to go in Brooklyn. The accommodations were nice, clean, quiet, no issues with parking, and had everything we needed for toiletries. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Wonderful home and lots of space, located literally in the middle of everything you would want to do in Long Beach, or walk to the Metro and take the train into NYC. We even walked about 5 min to a public ice skating rink or 5 min the other way to great restaurants and The Laurel Diner that was delicious. Host was wonderful, attentive and quick with communication. Would highly recommend.”
