“The Copper Cottage looks small, but has plenty of room on the inside. There were five of us, but this home could easily accommodate more. The beds were comfy and the home was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen has a very cool stove from the fifties that worked great! The small private beach area was perfect for relaxing and fishing. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you.”

“A delightful property, well supplied with all the kitchen gear you might need, boats, linens, games, books. Wonderful view, excellent surroundings - wetlands and lakes full of birds and other wildlife. Probably not too many better options out there anywhere!”

“This place was such a blessing to us! We stayed with our entire family and elderly father while our mother was in the hospital for surgery. This home provided us with a comfortable place to call home for the week. Every detail was amazing, the handicap accessibility was much needed, and the decor was bright and cheery! There is so much room that it never felt crowded and our teenager was able to have much needed space for quiet downtime. Wonderful property owners too!”

“This house was perfect for us. It seemed like every little detail that could make the trip better had already been thought of. The fireplace was beautiful, the game room was fun, and the home was comfortable. The nearby ski resort in Otswego wasn’t open, and the kids didn’t even mind. There was plenty of room for those in our group to be in different areas of the home. A+”

“Shower upstairs has sticky door. Wouldn't open from inside without some extra efforts. Also, the shower needs railing for older folks. Could be dangerous. One of the guys said they "slipped" and didn't have anything to grab. Luckily, they got their balance and stayed up... overall though an amazing property.”

“Our bridal party was coming from different cities and at different times/days. Our house was just as described, clean, cute and plenty of room to spread out to do hair/makeup. The kitchen was full stocked with everything you could need. I was able to make a great breakfast for the girls. Our host was wonderful and communication was great! I would stay there again when in Battle Creek!”

“We had alot of bree ze for the 4 days. Tough to have a campfire. We fished alot. Took my boat for rides and fishing. Fished alot off the dock. My wife and i are retired. We brought 6 grand kids . I taught them fishing and kayaking. Swimming too. Everyone had a good time. There was room for everyone.”

“The home is nicely furnished and comfortable. It as super close to our wedding events. Suggestions to stock some generic shampoo, add nite light to bathroom with no windows and supply a small starter amount of basic coffee maybe Folgers would be appreciated. The clock in living room is an hour off which confused us a couple times. There are leaves and trash that greet you at the front door need to be cleaned up before guests arrive. We paid a hefty cleaning fee and were asked to strip beds.……

“My husband and I were looking for a place to stay for a few nights, and visit with our son and daughter-in-law who were in town from Texas for a friend’s wedding. We found the cottage to be the perfect place for a relaxing stay! The cottage was clean and stocked with the necessary supplies. The location was quiet and peaceful. We found a grocery store a few blocks away, that had a great deli selection. We took a few trips to the Yankee Springs Recreation Area (state park). The space both inside……

“Our vacation here was great it was like having our own lake home. We had fun fishing off the dock and taking out the paddle boat. Fire's and smores at night and going berry picking. It was very relaxing even when it rained all day on us we played board games and got to spend time as a family with less phone time.”
